20 17 in the first half of the year, the number of international patent applications for PCT (Patent Cooperation Treaty) submitted by China applicants through China National Intellectual Property Administration reached 20,000, with a year-on-year growth rate of 15.3%. According to the 20 16 PCT international patent application report issued by the world intellectual property organization, ZTE ranks first among global enterprises with 4 123 PCT international patent applications, and Huawei ranks second with 3,692 applications.

Chen Hongbing, director of the China office of the World Intellectual Property Organization, said that China enterprises need to pay close attention to two risks when going overseas.
