Parameters that can be adjusted by the base station antenna

Parameters that can be adjusted for base station antenna: pressing antenna, reducing antenna height, adjusting ACCMIN, adjusting switching parameters, and reducing power level and power.

The control signaling, voice call or data service information on the antenna core network side of the base station is sent to the base station through the transmission network. The signal is processed by baseband and RF at the base station, and then sent to the antenna through RF feeder for transmission. The terminal receives the radio wave transmitted by the antenna through the wireless channel, and then demodulates its own signal.

Base station antenna settings:

Parameters such as inclination angle, direction angle, antenna hanging height, antenna diversity distance and isolation distance should be considered in antenna setting of base station.

Setting the antenna inclination angle of the base station reasonably can not only reduce the influence of co-frequency interference, effectively control the coverage area of the base station and the soft handover ratio of the whole network (for CDMA networks), but also strengthen the signal strength in the coverage area of the base station. Usually, the setting of antenna inclination angle focuses on two aspects, namely, focusing on interference suppression and focusing on strengthening coverage.

These two aspects of base station antenna focus on different downward tilt algorithms respectively. Generally speaking, interference suppression should be considered in areas with dense base stations, and coverage should be strengthened in areas with sparse base stations.
