The development prospects of Yanggu Xiangguang Copper Co., Ltd.

In September 2010, the park became the first approved eco-industrial park in the province. In February 2011, it successfully passed the expert demonstration for the establishment of a national-level eco-industrial demonstration park

2011 On June 28, 2019, the Ministry of Environmental Protection, the Ministry of Commerce, and the Ministry of Science and Technology jointly approved Yanggu Xiangguang Ecological Industrial Park to build a national ecological industrial demonstration park, marking that the construction of Yanggu Xiangguang Ecological Industrial Park has entered a new period of development.

The internationally renowned consulting company Roland Berger of Germany was hired to prepare the Xiangguang Ecological Industrial Park development plan, and experts from the China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association and China Ruilin Engineering Company were invited to conduct full demonstrations. The park has a planned area of ??25 square kilometers and includes a copper smelting area, copper intensive processing area, general copper processing area, resource recycling processing area, gold and silver processing area, and mechanical and electrical supporting processing area. The park will be guided by industrial policies, market-oriented, driven by scientific and technological innovation, with Xiangguang Copper as the leader, to create an internationally leading copper processing R&D center and develop "dual" resources combining mines and recycled copper , build three major bases for copper smelting, copper deep processing and recycled copper resource utilization, and build three circular economic chains with copper smelting waste gas, waste residue, and anode mud as the main raw materials, and strive to achieve a win-win situation of economic and ecological benefits. The main goal is to complete a cumulative investment of 26 billion yuan within five years, with an annual output of 900,000 tons of refined copper, 600,000 tons of copper deep processing products, 20 tons of gold, 600 tons of silver, 1,000 tons of rare metals, 300,000 tons of ferroalloys, and 740,000 tons of copper. It has the production capacity of potassium sulfate, 300,000 tons of PVC, 1 million tons of environmentally friendly building materials, and the dismantling capacity of 350,000 tons of recycled copper. Its annual sales revenue exceeds 100 billion and profits and taxes exceed 10 billion.
