What is the difference between acid and alkali resistant self-priming pump and submerged pump?

The characteristic of submerged pump is that it can go deep below the conveyed medium and carry out low-level transportation. The structural feature is long-axis cantilever structure. The depth under the liquid should be controlled within 2 meters as far as possible, and the efficiency will be greatly reduced if it exceeds. But the biggest problem of submerged pump is that the whole shaft is flexible. In the process of conveying medium, bearings are constantly subjected to unilateral wear, and excessive wear leads to bearing sloshing, which further aggravates the vicious circle of bearing wear. Therefore, the failure rate of submersible pump has been very high. Moreover, most of the parts with high wear are under the conveying medium, which is extremely inconvenient for disassembly and maintenance.

The research and development of self-priming pump can be said to be an innovation of the original conveying system. First of all, this kind of pump cancels the long shaft of submersible pump, and all those troublesome bearings are abandoned. Secondly, the main parts of the self-priming pump are above the ground, and there is no mechanical structure under the conveying medium. Therefore, the daily maintenance and overhaul have become very fast and convenient. Then the lift is greatly improved, and the maximum suction distance of the self-priming pump can reach about 7 meters (the special structure will be higher), which is a qualitative leap compared with the submerged pump.

The principle of self-priming pump adopts a unique patented impeller and separation disc to force gas-liquid separation and complete the suction process. Its shape, volume, weight and efficiency are similar to those of pipeline pumps. Self-priming pump does not need auxiliary equipment such as bottom valve, vacuum valve and gas separator. When the normal production is started, there is no need to fill the liquid, and the self-absorption ability is strong. It can replace the widely used submerged pump (low-position liquid delivery pump) and be used as auxiliary equipment such as separator, tanker delivery pump, self-priming pipeline pump and electric pump.

Another advantage of the self-priming pump, or its feature, is that when the pump cavity is filled with starting liquid for the first time, the starting medium can be directly idling into the pump (idling time is less than 7 minutes). It avoids the accident of idling and burning the motor due to misoperation, greatly reduces the use risk and improves the use efficiency of the pump.
