Patent capitalist

Nowadays, China people who go abroad are surprised to find that westerners whose per capita GDP has exceeded 30,000 dollars are rich and laid-back. They seldom work overtime and have many holidays. They always travel around the world. I can't help wondering why westerners are so rich because they are not hardworking.

First of all, this is due to the historical reasons for the development of capitalism in western countries. After the first labor revolution, the west began the process of primitive accumulation of capital. They plundered the resources of Asia, Latin America and Africa, occupied colonies, engaged in piracy and sold slaves. At the same time, China launched a large-scale enclosure movement to seize farmers' land by violent means. Rich primitive accumulation provides conditions for the development of emerging capitalism in the west.

Second, the advanced level of scientific and technological development in the west makes them have the most patents in the world. After completing primitive accumulation, western capitalists established a perfect industrial system and began to create brand effects. Various patent rights and trademark rights make western countries form a monopoly advantage in trade.

Take the specific drug dalapirin as an example, its production cost is only a few cents at first, and the price is 13.5 dollars, which can be said to be profitable. Later, it was acquired by Wall Street businessmen and monopolized the patent. Darapine soared to $750 per tablet. Even if someone is dissatisfied with this move, there is nothing they can do, because all the patents of dalapirin have been acquired, and any generic drug behavior will face legal ruling.

Western laws protect patents and copyrights to a very high degree. This also encourages westerners, who value technology more than repetitive mechanical work.

It is precisely because western governments have always attached importance to the level of science and technology that the level of science and technology in the West has been developing continuously. At present, most of the patent rights of high-tech products in the world are in the west, and any country that uses these technologies has to pay patent fees.

Third, the concept of wealth advocated by western countries is different from that of China. In western capitalist countries, in order to ensure the prosperity of market economy, both capitalists and governments will publicize the idea of consumerism. Consumerism is regarded as a kind of morality in the west, which is different from extravagance and waste in China's eyes. In the eyes of westerners, consumption is a kind of glory. Starting from people's thoughts, wishes and emotions, western countries encourage people to exchange consumption for happiness.

After World War II, the theory of saving the country by consumption once appeared in western countries. This theory is used to encourage people to spend to save the depressed market. To this end, western countries have also made many innovations in finance. The familiar mortgage, car loan, mortgage, credit card, etc. are all invented by western countries to stimulate consumer demand and improve the whole social welfare.

These financial measures not only enable ordinary people in the west to enjoy various welfare policies in advance, but also allow capitalists to have more abundant funds. From then on, the capital chain of the whole western countries can flow more fully. In this way, Qian Shengqian and westerners naturally become richer and richer.

Fourth, the work concept is different. Westerners are not hardworking. Although westerners have various holidays, they can travel around the world all year round. In life, most westerners seem to be lazy. However, in western countries, the work concept they advocate is efficiency first, not formalism.

Westerners are not hardworking. Although their working hours are short, they are required to concentrate and finish their tasks efficiently. Many university professors ask themselves not to drink a glass of water in class, and researchers often stipulate that they can't use mobile phones, play computers and do their best to finish their work. In western countries, overtime is a sign of inefficiency. Why take up private time to finish what you can do during working hours?
