How to inquire about unauthorized patents?

If X is a patent for utility model or design, it can't be found, because it must be authorized before the patent office can make it public.

If it is an application for a patent for invention, it will be made public after the preliminary examination. Even if it is not authorized, it can be found in this case, and it can also be retrieved in the official website of the Patent Office.

Another related patent, how to check whether the patent is authorized?

First, go to the official website of China National Intellectual Property Administration and click "Patent Search and Query" in the menu bar above. After entering, click "China Patent Inquiry System" again.

After entering "China Patent Inquiry System", click "Click to Enter" under public inquiry, and then select "Agree to the above statement" to continue.

Enter the patent name, query, and then click on the "Basic Information" of the patent, and you can see when the patent was granted, or withdrawn, or the patent has expired. There are generally three situations. If there are two announcement numbers under "Announcement of Invention/Authorization", the general patent is authorized.
