3.11 Employee Parking Lot

The company provides designated parking spaces for employees. As a courtesy to others, employees may park only in company-specific locations. Employees may not use parking areas in parking areas reserved exclusively for customers or visitors, or spaces reserved for persons with disabilities. Please do not park in any fire zones or restricted areas. The company encourages employees to use vehicles safely. Remember to lock your car every day. The Company is not responsible for any damage or theft to any vehicle in the Company's parking lot.

3.12 Company-sponsored social and recreational activities

Employees are not required to attend or participate in any after-get off work recreational, social or sporting activities. The Company regularly sponsors such events for employees and their immediate families. The purpose of these activities is to promote harmony among employees and their families.

Participation in company-sponsored recreational, sporting or social activities is entirely voluntary and occurs at the employee's own risk. No one is required to participate in these activities when their participation does not form part of their job-related duties, unless the Company notifies the employee in writing of the required activities. The Company does not accept liability for any injuries or accidents resulting from any after-hours gatherings or social events. It is important to remember that any injury or illness caused by participating in company-sponsored recreational, sports or social activities will not be compensated by employee's workers' compensation insurance.

At company-sponsored events, each employee should not drink excessive amounts of alcoholic beverages or engage in any other activity that would render him or her unfit to drive, or behave in any drunken and disorderly manner. However, if any employee feels unfit to drive home, he should take a taxi home or ask another co-worker who has not been drinking to drive him home.

All employees and their guests attending company-sponsored social events are expected to follow the Code of Conduct in this Handbook.

If an employee is required to appear as a witness or to appear in court under a subpoena due to company business, they will receive their normal wages or salaries. The company will not pay employees if they appear in court on personal matters rather than company business. At the same time, when employees take leave, they can use the vacation accumulated from testifying in court.
