How to be a good monitor in the new period

In recent years, with the acceleration of the modernization and regularization of fire fighting forces, the position and role of squad leader in grass-roots fire fighting forces has become increasingly prominent. The quality and backbone of the squad leader directly affect the cohesion and combat effectiveness of the grass-roots fire fighting forces. In daily duty, they are the backbone of grass-roots units, always close to cadres and soldiers, and are the bridge and link between officers and men. Affect the security and stability of grass-roots troops. In the new era, the structure of soldiers is becoming more and more complicated. Some soldiers are the only children in the family, and they are rarely "managed", which requires that the management concept of the army and the ideals and beliefs of officers and men should be gradually changed, which puts higher demands on the quality and ability of the squad leader and also provides new challenges for the squad leader's work. Exploring the work of the squad leader in the new period is of great practical significance for promoting the standardized management of the troops, maintaining the security, stability and centralization of the troops, and enhancing and improving the combat effectiveness of the troops. Put forward three suggestions on how to be a good monitor in the new period: First, I will do ideological work, especially the work of recruits. The ideological work of the army is not the "patent" of the squadron cadres, and the squad leader of the squadron must also be able to do ideological work. There may be "fluctuation" in the thoughts of squadron soldiers, and the squad leader can detect this "fluctuation" in time in daily management, which requires the squad leader to go further into their hearts, understand the reasons for the "fluctuation" of soldiers' thoughts, guide and feedback them to the squadron cadres in time, and formulate solutions, so as to prescribe the right medicine, eliminate the ideological problems of soldiers in time, and ensure the high concentration and stability of the troops. Two: set an example in life, training, fire fighting and rescue. The squad leader is the person closest to the soldiers in daily life, and also the person who can influence them most. The monitor's words and deeds are "role models" for soldiers. Therefore, the squad leader should always pay attention to his words and deeds, be strict with himself in life, work hard in training, and play an exemplary role. On the one hand, it can stimulate the work enthusiasm and training enthusiasm of the soldiers, on the other hand, it is also a great promotion for the management of the monitor. In the fire fighting and rescue, the squad leader is an "old hand" in the fire. He should know better than the commander when, where and by whom the equipment is used. This requires that while he is familiar with the equipment, he should study the equipment with his heart, and at the same time master the learning ability of his comrades-in-arms with his heart, so as to better complete the fire fighting and rescue tasks assigned by the commander. Three: diligent management, dare to manage, will manage. No investigation, no right to speak. As the squad leader of a grass-roots squadron, he can't be a frog in the well. He will walk into every corner where soldiers are everywhere and get up every morning. In particular, the monitor on duty should walk around each class to see if there are any soldiers who can't get up in time and find out if there are any soldiers who can't do exercises for various reasons. After going to bed at night, the monitor on duty should patrol the camp to check whether there are potential safety hazards and whether the garage door is closed. Whether the doors and windows of the canteen are locked, whether the power supply of the class and other libraries is cut off, etc., all kinds of hidden dangers should be eliminated in time. For the problems existing in daily work, we should dare to expose and criticize, what is right is right, and what is wrong is wrong. We should be good at observing and do a good job in supervision and supervision. As for the "suggestions" put forward by some old comrades, it is good to adopt them, but it is not enough to explain them privately. The squad leader plays the role of model, bridge and backbone in the grass-roots squadron. The squad leader is the most concrete and direct leader of the army and has the greatest radiation and influence on the soldiers.
