Historical legend of Qingfeng RV

1896 On July 4th, Wallace Merle Byam, the founder of Qingfeng RV, was born in Baker, Ohio. As a teenager, he worked as a shepherd and lived on a two-wheeled donkey cart, equipped only with a kerosene lamp, a sleeping bag and a bucket. The teenager's experience undoubtedly had a great influence on his life choice. 1923 graduated from the law department of Stanford University, owned an advertising company and later became a magazine publisher. 1929, Byam gave up law, advertising and publishing and became a full-time trailer manufacturer.

193 1 year, Byam established a manufacturing plant in Turtle, California. A year later, the first Qingfeng RV came out. From 1932 to 1933, the "Torpedo" RV produced by Qingfeng RV was unveiled, and the RV was made of Mei Sen Knight fiberboard and plywood. 1936, Qingfeng RV Company launched a revolutionary "yacht" trailer. Rivets, nails and aluminum car bodies, imitating the hard shell structure of airplanes, colorful interior designs, and even equipped with ice-melting "air conditioning", all of which made the "sailing boat" still in short supply even during the Great Depression. In the end, Qingfeng RV became the only surviving RV manufacturer during the Great Depression (1939). And "sailing boat" has become an American legend.

194 1 year, during the second world war, Qingfeng RV stopped production due to lack of aluminum. Byam became a director of Curtis Wright Aircraft Factory. However, after the war, people's enthusiasm for RV resumed. 1947, Byam established Qingfeng Trailer Co., Ltd. and set up a factory in LA to launch Qingfeng RV production line. By 1948, Breeze Trailer has become a world-famous brand like Coca-Cola. In the next 15 years, the company continued to develop rapidly. 195 1 year, the first Qingfeng RV entered Central and North America. 1952, Qingfeng RV established its second manufacturing factory in Jackson Center, Ohio. 1955 Wali Byam RV Club was established and later renamed Wali Byam International RV Club. 1958, Qingfeng introduced the first fully equipped trailer, named "International". 196 1 year, Qingfeng introduced the first fully equipped small RV, named "Bambi". 1962, Wali Byam died. Breeze RV was sold to Art Castro, Andy Charles and other directors. 1967, Beatrice acquired Qingfeng Company.

Qingfeng Company has never stopped its pursuit of making "Better Trailer". 1972, Qingfeng Company launched a trailer RV merchant ship, which was built in a new factory in Versailles, Ohio. 1974, Qingfeng introduced the first self-propelled RV-"Merchant Ship", which added aerodynamic design on the basis of absorbing the all-aluminum body and hard shell structure of the trailer. At that time, this was not available in any other self-propelled RV. 1978, Qingfeng closed its factory in California and moved its production management center to Jackson Center in Ohio. 1979, Qingfeng developed the first self-propelled RV-"Masterpiece" in the name of Qingfeng Company. 1980, the Raytheon Group founded by Wade Thompson and Peter Oswin acquired Qingfeng. 1989, Qingfeng introduced the "land boat" self-propelled RV, and the innovative laminated FRP structure and the design of the front and rear covers of the RV even obtained patent certificates.
