Jin Manqin’s personal profile

Male, born in 1963, Ph.D., professor at the School of Chemical Engineering, Nanjing University of Technology, doctoral supervisor, executive deputy director of the State Key Laboratory of Materials and Chemical Engineering, chief scientist of the “973 Program”, and German “Humboldt” scholar. He graduated from Nanjing University of Chemical Technology in 1999 with a PhD in chemical engineering. From April 2001 to October 2001, he carried out postdoctoral work at the Institute of Materials Research and Engineering, National University of Singapore; from October 2001 to March 2003, he was funded by the German "Alexander Humboldt" Foundation and worked in the Department of Physical Chemistry, University of Cologne, Germany. ; Returned to China in April 2003 and worked in the School of Chemical Engineering of Nanjing University of Technology. From November 2007 to February 2008, he was a visiting scholar at Arizona State University in the United States. In 2010, he won the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) invited visiting scholar award and conducted an academic exchange visit at Hiroshima University in Japan from January to February 2011. Mainly engaged in the research of membrane materials, membrane preparation and membrane reactors, he has undertaken more than 10 scientific research projects including the national "973" plan, "863" plan, National Natural Science Foundation, and Jiangsu Provincial Natural Science Foundation key projects. He has published more than 190 papers in international journals such as Angew.Chemie, AIChEJ., J.Membr.Sci., Chem.Eng.Sci., J.Am.Chem.Soc., Chem.Mater., and Chem.Commun.
