The Ministry of Education announced the registration and approval results of undergraduate majors in general colleges and universities in 2021. After application, publicity, review and other procedures, the Ministry of Education will register the majors applied for registration by colleges and universities in various places, and according to the majors of colleges and universities The evaluation results of the Establishment and Teaching Steering Committee confirmed that Jiangxi Engineering College will add four new undergraduate majors in 2022: Chinese language and literature, mathematics and applied mathematics, information management and information systems, and cross-border e-commerce.
So far, Jiangxi Engineering College has opened 37 undergraduate majors, covering engineering, literature, economics, education, management, art and other aspects.

Since its undergraduate promotion, the school has undertaken 151 national, provincial and ministerial level projects; published more than 2,000 academic papers, including more than 140 in three major searches; Obtained 3 national invention patents, 547 utility model patents and software registration certificates; represented Jiangxi universities in the Shenzhen Hi-Tech Fair for seven consecutive years, and won 2 outstanding product awards for 2 products; won 1 key project and 1 general project from the National Social Science Fund ; 1 project with special funds guided by the central government was approved, and 3 science and technology research projects were approved by Jiangxi Provincial Department of Science and Technology.
In 2019, the school received more than 30 project approvals at the provincial level or above, including 3 projects from the Jiangxi Provincial Department of Science and Technology, 17 science and technology plan projects from the Jiangxi Provincial Department of Education, 1 Jiangxi Provincial Education Science Planning Project, 2 humanities and social science projects in colleges and universities of Jiangxi Provincial Department of Education. The "Research on Green Financial Innovation Paths and Guarantee Mechanisms in High-Quality Economic Development" applied by teacher Andy Lau of the school was approved for the 2020 National Social Science Fund project.
