How to evaluate general hybrid technology?

There are two technical routes of weak mixing and strong mixing, and the five technical routes of P0, P 1, P2, P3 and P4 are represented by weak mixing route P0 and P 1: P0: BSG respectively. Simply put, the engine stops running at idle speed, and when it needs to be started, the motor drags the engine to idle speed or above, thus reducing the high-load working condition of the engine and achieving the purpose of saving fuel. P 1: the technology of improving engine output power represented by ISG. The motor is arranged at the output end of the engine and directly coupled with the crankshaft, which does not support pure electric drive. Representative model: Honda Civic -HEV simply means to enhance the output power of the engine through a motor, and does not support pure electric drive. Strong mixing routes P2, P3 and P4: P2: The motor is arranged between the engine and the gearbox, and the power transmission is controlled by the clutch. At high speed, the motor can provide low load output and realize pure electric drive. Representative model: Audi Q5-HEV simply adds a motor between the engine and the transmission. When driving at high speed, the engine is under low load, and the transmission needs low torque and continuous power output. It can be driven by the motor and the engine stops to achieve the purpose of saving fuel. P3: The motor is installed at the rear end of the gearbox and connected with the output shaft. The technical route is special, seldom used and not well understood. Please forgive me. Representative model: BYD Qin -PHEVP4 motor is arranged on the rear axle, which is used as a driving module to output power independently, supporting pure electric drive and realizing electric four-wheel drive. Representative model: Volvo V60-PHEV In short, P4' s technical route is to add a motor to the rear axle of the car and increase the power output source for the two rear wheels, thus turning the two-wheel drive into a four-wheel drive. At the same time, P4 line motor has high voltage and high power, and by using high-capacity battery, it can realize completely pure electric drive. Summary: Looking at the five technical routes, P0 does not involve the system improvement of powertrain control system, so no car company develops it as a system, but only as an additional function extension. So we only discuss the remaining four technical routes. Now it is widely used, and P2 and P4 are more mature. P2 may be the representative technical route of horizontal front-wheel drive two-wheel drive vehicles in the future, and it will be widely popularized. P4 may become a substitute for the existing vertical four-wheel drive platform, and get a large number of SUV models. Generally speaking, hybrid is not a very advanced technology, but as far as the automobile industry is concerned, it is a very challenging technical transformation to re-match the electrical architecture and powertrain.
