Guodian Environmental Protection Research Institute started the research and development of desulfurization and demister in the late 1980s and early 1990s. So far, four national desulfurization research projects have conducted special research on desulfurization and demister:

1, the key project of the Ninth Five-Year Plan "Simple Wet Desulfurization by Venturi Water Film Dust Collector"

A small test-bed was established, and a large number of performance tests of demister were completed systematically.

2. The State Planning Commission's project "Localization of complete sets of wet flue gas desulfurization equipment for large-scale combustion boilers"

The work of demister in this project focuses on practical application.

3, "Tenth Five-Year Plan" 863 Plan "Large Coal-fired Power Plant Boiler Flue Gas Desulfurization Technology and Equipment Project"

On the basis of summarizing the previous research results, this project further improved the design theory of demister and realized the second leap from theory to practice and back to theory. At the same time, the influence of the flow field and airflow uniformity in the demister channel on the demister is studied, and the design and calculation software of the demister is compiled.

4. National high-tech research and development plan (863 plan): resource-based flue gas desulfurization technology.

Sub-topic name: development and research of demister, the key equipment of liquid column jet desulfurization. Through experimental research, the research and development system of key equipment for resource-based liquid column jet flue gas desulfurization is established in this project. According to the characteristics of droplet shape and droplet size of liquid column spray flue gas desulfurization, a demister with high demisting efficiency, small pressure drop, easy flushing and high cost performance was developed and optimized. At present, the field operation of this type of demister is normal. HF-0 1 series high-frequency power supply for electrostatic precipitator, jointly developed by Guodian Science and Technology Research Institute and Nanjing Guodian Environmental Protection Equipment Co., Ltd., was listed as a major national industrial technology development project by the National Development and Reform Commission in 2008, and it is a new generation of electrostatic precipitator power supply product with independent property rights. Experiments show that it has a remarkable effect on improving the dust removal efficiency of electrostatic precipitator, especially for electrostatic precipitator with high specific resistance coal and high dust concentration, and it is also an effective means to reduce the power consumption of electrostatic precipitator. ◆ The first high-frequency power supply equipment for electrostatic dust removal in China was successfully applied to thermal power units above 300MW.

◆ In 2008, it was listed as a major national industrial technology development project by the National Development and Reform Commission.

◆ At present, HF-0 1 series high-frequency power supply is used for electrostatic precipitator, and the largest equipment 1600mA runs stably and reliably.

The comparative test shows that compared with the power frequency power supply, the high frequency power supply can save more than 70% electricity under the same conditions. Taking the electrostatic precipitator of 300MW unit as an example, the annual operation time is 5500 hours, which can save more than 4 million kWh of electricity every year, and the power saving benefit is 1 10,000 yuan.

◆ The high-frequency power supply adopts pulse power supply, which significantly improves the efficiency. Compared with power frequency SCR power supply, using high frequency power supply can reduce smoke and dust emission by 40-70%, which has obvious environmental protection benefits.

◆ Using high-frequency power supply has obvious economic benefits. Taking a 300MW unit as an example, the project investment is increased by using this high frequency power supply, and the payback period of power saving benefit is about 0.9 years. SPEP-2000 flue gas emission continuous monitoring system is widely used in various industrial boilers (kilns) in thermal power generation, chemical industry, petrochemical industry, steel, garbage incineration, coking, cement and other industries. It can monitor the fixed emission source of polluted gas in industrial projects and the control monitoring of flue gas desulfurization and denitrification system online, and provide scientific and advanced detection means for the supervision of environmental protection departments.

SPEP-2000 is mainly used to monitor SO2, NOX, CO, CO2 and other gas pollutants in the discharged flue gas, as well as the smoke concentration, flue gas flow, flue gas temperature, pressure, humidity and O2 content in the flue gas.
