People often refer to the symptoms of intractable leg pain, aggravated by cold, and incurable for a long time as "old cold leg". Whenever winter comes, the temperature drops, and the body is not healthy, if you don't pay attention to it, the exogenous pathogen of "wind-cold-dampness pathogen" will quietly invade the muscle joints of limbs, and the exogenous pathogen will block the meridian joints, resulting in qi and blood stagnation, pain, heavy legs, numbness and even joint stiffness, resulting in "old cold leg". In fact, "old cold legs" is what we often say about knee osteoarthritis. In order to prevent "old cold legs", we should pay attention to the following points in winter.

First, keep warm.

People often say that "getting cold feet is natural." Because the legs and feet are located at the distal ends of the limbs, far away from the heart, and the blood supply is less, the fat layer of the legs is thin, and the warmth retention ability is relatively poor. Especially for middle-aged and elderly people, with the increase of age, the function of liver and kidney gradually declines, especially the warmth of legs and feet should be paid attention to. You can add clothes, wear knee pads and ankles, and wear warm and suitable shoes and socks. If you are a sweaty person, you should wear cotton shoes and socks made of breathable cloth. You should always change insoles and socks to avoid wearing rubber shoes. In addition, shoes and socks should be elastic and suitable, and there should be a gap between feet and shoes. In snowy days, wet shoes and socks should be replaced in time. You can also use a common spectrometer to irradiate the legs, or take 50 grams of fennel and 200 grams of salt, fry them in an iron pan, then wrap them in cloth and iron the affected legs to dispel cold and relieve pain.

Now with the improvement of people's living conditions, more and more people love beauty, especially young girls. In order to be beautiful, they have to wear "boots+short skirts" in snowy winter, laying the groundwork for getting "old cold legs" in the future. Nowadays, "old cold legs" are no longer the patent of the elderly, and I am afraid they have existed before they are old. Therefore, in winter, young women should also pay attention to keep warm to prevent "old cold legs".

Second, pay attention to the living environment

The living environment should avoid being dark and damp. Bedroom and bedding should be kept dry, clean and warm, and electric blankets can be laid on the bed, but the opening time should be controlled within 30 minutes before going to bed, and the electric blankets should be turned off after the bedding is hot. Close the window when you fall asleep to avoid catching cold.

Third, pay attention to diet.

In winter, when the weather is cold, you can choose a high-protein and high-calorie diet, especially eating warm foods, such as mutton, chicken, dog meat, goose, eel, beef, pork liver, ginger, onion, pepper and milk, and eating less cold products. Eat more kelp and all kinds of seafood, which has high iodine content and can promote thyroid hormone secretion and metabolism. You can also drink a small glass of yellow wine every day to keep out the cold, and you can also add a proper amount of sacrifices, attached tablets, codonopsis pilosula and other drugs to the wine.

Fourth, cooperate with massage and exercise.

Before going to bed every night, you can soak your feet in warm water for 30 minutes. As the saying goes, "Wash your feet and warm your stomach in winter". Appropriate amount of salt can be added to the hot water, and it is best to immerse the hot water above the ankle joint to improve the blood circulation of the lower limbs. After washing your feet, wipe them clean with a towel, and massage Yongquan point on the soles of your feet 60 times with your palm to promote blood circulation, enhance yang, warm the lower body, moisten the lungs and nourish the kidneys, and drive away exogenous pathogens. It is better to cooperate with massage. You can do a three-step knee massage. ① Relaxation technique: The patient lies on his back with the doctor on the affected side. First roll around the knee joint and roll back and forth along the quadriceps femoris for 3 ~ 5 minutes. ② Holding quadriceps femoris: The doctor holds quadriceps femoris 30 times with his thumb and other four fingers, and then flicks the lateral thigh muscles with his thumb. ③ Massage acupoints around the patella: The doctor massaged the knee, calf alar, Xue Hai, Liang Qiu, Shi Feng, Weizhong, Yanglingquan, Chengshan and other acupoints for 65,438+0 minutes each, which is suitable for local pain and numbness. At the same time, do knee flexion, extension, rotation and valgus to increase the internal and external clearance of knee joint. (4) Relaxation technique: Use rubbing, rubbing, smoothing and slapping to relax this part as a closing technique.

For those who have difficulty bending over, or those who have weak palms, you can buy a wooden abacus bead massager and roll your feet on the massager.

It should be noted that: try not to do semi-squat knee rotation and swing back and forth. Mainly in the semi-squatting position, the patella and femoral condyle bear the greatest pressure, and the local friction of the joint during rotation and shaking will make knee osteoarthritis happen or even aggravate.

Life lies in exercise. Moderate aerobic exercise, such as walking, dancing, jogging, Tai Ji Chuan and aerobics. When sitting reading and writing for a long time, you should stand up and move your joints, lift your legs, leg press, stamp your feet, etc. It can prevent muscle atrophy, joint stiffness and adhesion, and prolong life.

V. Combined fumigation

Fumigating and scalding the affected area: put 65,438 05g of Radix Clematidis, Cortex Erythrinae, Fructus Schisandrae Chinensis, Fructus Crataegi, Herba Lycopodii, Caulis et Folium Gaultheriae Yunnanensis, Rhizoma Sparganii, Rhizoma Curcumae, Radix Gentianae Macrophyllae and Caulis Spatholobi respectively, and 65,438 02g of Achyranthes bidentata, Fructus Chaenomelis, Coicis Semen, Carthami Flos and Lignum sappan respectively into a pot, and add a proper amount of water. Each dose is not used as medicine.
