How does the Indian Kaveri engine compare to the Chinese engine?

India's Kaveri turbofan engine is an engine specially developed to support India's independently developed LCA fighter jets. It is a model designed to meet the power requirements of the light fighter LCA, which is said to have the lightest empty weight. Engines with the same level of thrust are the Russian RD-33 or RD-93, the French M-88 turbofan engine, and the American F-404 series and its improved versions.

The "Taihang" turbofan engine developed by China was developed to support China's self-developed J-10 series of medium-sized fighter jets and J-11 series of heavy-duty fighter jets. In terms of thrust, it is at the same level as the Russian AL-31 series and the American F100 series and F101 series.

Therefore. India's Kaveri turbofan engine is not at the same level as the "Taihang" engine developed by China in terms of thrust and technical level.
