Two. Anqing Vocational and Technical College is located in Anqing City, Anhui Province, a national garden city, a national historical and cultural city, a national forest city and an excellent tourist city in China. Located in the state-level Anqing Economic and Technological Development Zone, adjacent to Anqing Government Affairs New District, Business New District, Cultural and Sports Center and Qintan Lake Ecological Park, it has a superior geographical position and a beautiful environment. The master plan of the campus was designed by Academician He Jingtang, the designer of the China Pavilion of the Shanghai World Expo, and the name of the campus was inscribed by Mr. Qi Gong, a master of Chinese studies and a famous calligrapher.
The college now offers 35 majors, forming a professional group serving the development of regional pillar industries, such as agriculture, forestry, horticulture, construction engineering, machinery manufacturing, cultural tourism, textiles and clothing, financial logistics, electronic information, automobile engineering, environmental monitoring and management, etc. At present, there are 2 majors in improving professional service industry capacity-building supported by the central government, 5 majors in provincial comprehensive reform pilot, 3 vocational education training bases supported by the central government, 7 provincial demonstration experimental training centers, 5 provincial school-enterprise cooperative education practice bases, 4 provincial talent training mode innovation experimental zones 1, and 4 provincial outstanding talent education training plans. There are 1 college student maker labs, 14 provincial-level quality courses, * * * courses of high-quality resources, * * open courses of quality videos, large-scale open online courses, 8 provincial-level smart classroom pilot projects, and 100 multi-school-enterprise cooperative development courses. There are nearly 600 faculty members, including 3 members of the National Vocational Education Teaching Steering Committee, 7 provincial teaching teams, 36 provincial "famous teachers", provincial professional leaders, provincial strategic emerging industry leaders, provincial teaching rookies, and 3 provincial outstanding young talents and winners of special allowances from the municipal government. Teachers have national invention patents 12, 70 practical patents and more than 60 teaching and research projects at or above the provincial level, and have successively won the second prize of the National Teaching Achievement Award 1, 6 first prizes of the Anhui Teaching Achievement Award, 2 second prizes 13 and 22 third prizes.
Adhering to the motto of "Diligence in Learning, Virtue and Art", the College carries out the school-running philosophy of "combining education with employment, paying equal attention to practice and theory, and integrating science and technology with humanities", vigorously promotes the reform of talent training mode of "integrating teaching with doing", and strives to create the school-running characteristics of "humanistic navigation, technical sailing, cultural education and skilled people". The College is an "Anhui Innovation and Entrepreneurship Demonstration School" and has been rated as "Advanced Collective for Employment of College Graduates in Anhui Province" for many years. Six months after graduation, the employment rate of students remained above 95%, and the proportion of self-employment remained at around 5%. The Report on Talent Training and Social Needs of Anqing Vocational and Technical College (20 17) issued by the third-party evaluation agency Max Company shows that graduates have basically achieved full employment one year after graduation, and their career expectations and satisfaction with the employment situation are high, and their subjective feelings about employment are good. In recent two years, the satisfaction of graduates' overall innovation ability is above 80%, and the effect of graduates' innovation ability is good. In the past four years, the monthly income of graduates has been rising continuously, the salary level of graduates has been rising steadily, and the job satisfaction and life satisfaction of graduates to their alma mater students are good and increasing year by year.
