First, the content introduction
Through the design of new magnetic system and structure, the development of special high-intensity magnetic separator, medium-intensity magnetic separator and weak magnetic separator for non-metallic minerals has been completed. High-intensity magnetic separators have been widely used in the production of large andalusite and vermiculite mines in Xinjiang, with remarkable benefits. According to the flotation characteristics of non-metallic minerals, a special flotation machine for non-metallic minerals was developed for the first time through optimization design, and the test indicators met the requirements of the task book. The developed composite force field magnetic vibrating screen has good separation performance. In the research of key technologies for comprehensive utilization of vermiculite, the developed vermiculite fire-resistant and heat-insulating products have corrosion resistance and erosion resistance, and their refractoriness, thermal conductivity and strength meet the evaluation requirements of the project. The developed wet spraying technology has been applied in Shougang No.2 Steel Plant, Chongqing Iron and Steel Company and Wuyang Steel Plant.
Second, popularization and application
After nearly two years of scientific and technological research, the special high-intensity magnetic separator for non-metallic minerals has been industrialized. The sale of 1 1 special magnetic separator for the beneficiation and purification of vermiculite and andalusite has effectively promoted the development of non-metallic minerals, with a comprehensive economic benefit of 30 million yuan. Vermiculite composite new material has been used in many iron and steel enterprises, creating economic benefits of 9.73 million yuan and comprehensive economic benefits of enterprises reaching 50 million yuan. The application of new materials has great social benefits in reducing energy consumption and prolonging furnace life.

The project started from March 2004 to March 2006.
