My suggestion to you is that if there is a certificate related to your major, then take one and treat it as learning professional knowledge. If the certificate you want to take has nothing to do with your major, it is recommended that you spend some time learning more about things that you can use in future scientific research. After all, in the Academy of Sciences, no one dares to say that they have a lot of free time.
