The origin of road reflector
Forsyin Grovam mirror patented by Jean-Neuhaus in Britain is the earliest mirror used on the road in the world. March, 1934, located in Habala, Markent. This kind of road reflector was installed for the first time. At the end of 1934, this kind of reflector was also installed on Bedford Street of the ferry.
It is said that in 1933, Percy Shaw, the son of a British dyehouse, drove through the dense fog on the road between Harlex and Bradford, thanks to a cat's glasses he invented himself.
In order not to let him rush out of the railing and fall off the cliff. 1April, 934, after more than a year of experiments, Pachishaw installed 50 cat glasses at the intersection near Bradford Drlington.
1935, Percy Shaw established the company fraker Tinger Rod Studds and began to produce road reflectors. At that time, the company could only install 36 reflectors for the crosswalk in Barton, Yorkshire. This kind of reflector is made of cast iron, each piece weighs about 10 lb (4.5 kg), and is buried by the roadside with a rubber pad in the middle.
