The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security has clarified: Obtaining professional qualifications in the engineering field can correspond to professional titles!

Recently, the General Office of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security and the General Office of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology jointly issued the "Guiding Opinions on Deepening the Reform of the Professional Title System for Engineering and Technical Talents (Draft for Comment)", regarding the "Reform of the Professional Title System for Engineering and Technical Talents" Open for comment. The "Guiding Opinions" propose:

1. Vocational qualifications correspond to professional titles

The professional qualifications obtained in the engineering field can correspond to professional titles at the corresponding level.

Junior, intermediate and senior generally correspond to junior, intermediate and senior professional titles respectively.

Ungraded settings generally correspond to intermediate professional titles.

2. Add a full senior engineer

The junior professional title is technician and assistant engineer

The intermediate professional title is engineer

Deputy senior professional title The title is senior engineer

The senior professional title is senior engineer

3. Improve the evaluation criteria.

Anyone who embezzles, plagiarizes or falsifies the technical achievements of others or falsifies test data will be subject to a "one-vote veto system"; any professional title obtained through fraud or secret operations will be revoked.

Highlight evaluation capabilities and performance. Patent results, construction reports, problem solutions, engineering experiments, formulation of standards and specifications, industry construction methods, etc. can all be regarded as performance results; major original research results can be decided by "one vote".

A special channel for professional title evaluation will be established. Engineering and technical talents who have made breakthroughs in key core technologies and made significant contributions in the field can directly apply for the evaluation of senior engineer titles.
