Quick thinking, good eloquence and good social relations.
Be honest, be warm and generous to others, don't care about personal gains and losses, save some morality and speak some conscience. The original intention of the law is to punish evil and promote good! Language expression can be trained, but I think as a lawyer, you must be honest and at least live up to your conscience.
First, we must have a correct way of thinking. Accurately grasping the customer's problems and correctly judging the customer's goals are the premise to solve the problems. Although entrusted by the client, the lawyer's profession inherently requires that the lawyer have independent judgment and independent behavior, and can't act completely according to the client's will. Lawyers should also have a strong sense of risk when practicing.
Secondly, we should have a strong sense of practice. Lawyers should use professional knowledge to solve problems instead of creating problems, and be good at communicating with customers and providing personalized services instead of standardized services.
Thirdly, we should have the basic skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing. Whether the client's problems are clearly understood, whether the professional legal opinions can be clearly, accurately and popularly expressed, whether the data collection, identification, screening, clarification and analysis are done well, and whether the due diligence report, legal opinions, contract documents, work memos and other work results are completed are important standards and basis for evaluating lawyer services.
Finally, lawyers should have a good sense of service. Lawyers belong to the service industry, and lawyers provide professional legal services. Good service awareness and service level are more important than aggressive eloquence and naked power and money transactions.
Qualified quality is reflected in the understanding and attitude towards lawyers and legal work, which is a correct value concept.
First, talent
Do you still need talent to be a lawyer? Sure! I mean you want to be a decent lawyer. Talent includes the following aspects: first, the mind. If the mental development is unbalanced and one aspect of personality is too extreme, then it is not suitable to be a lawyer. For example, if you are not passionate about things and people, then you are not suitable to be a lawyer. If you always want to do justice, you are not a mature lawyer, because many problems that lawyers have to face are not as simple as justice or injustice.
Secondly, if you are disabled, your appearance is not good for the audience, and you will not become a decent lawyer. This is the real society. When people meet for the first time, their appearance is often more important than their talents. Even after getting along for a long time, everyone wants their lawyers to be good-looking, not obscene. If your parents give you an extraordinary appearance, if you are plain, then you need time to experience and you need constant self-cultivation. It is said that inner cultivation can be reflected in appearance, but for us ordinary people, appearance should have a basic foundation, so that we can influence our appearance through inner cultivation. Some friends who passed the judicial examination were banned by the law firm several times, and they never knew why. Part of it is because of the reasons I mentioned, especially some places that pay attention to fame. They will care about the candidate's appearance to some extent. I'm not a person who discriminates against disabled people and people with long differences.
Second, the acquired ability.
Although I define the following abilities that a lawyer should possess as acquired ability, in fact, acquired ability is often related to talent. Let's call it acquired ability
Lawyers should be the best people to deal with people, not only from the talent. If you are not only bad at dealing with people, but also unwilling to deal with all kinds of people, then you can't be a lawyer at all.
If you are not good at expression, including oral expression and written expression, including one-on-one expression and expressing opinions in front of hundreds of people, and you are not determined to get rid of this problem that is extremely flawed for lawyers, you can't be a lawyer. If you can't write an examination paper and a letter now, you might as well throw away the idea of becoming a lawyer. Of course, both language expression and written expression can be constantly studied and exercised, which requires both time and your own conscious understanding.
Third, be good at continuous learning, including books and other people's experiences.
