The subsidy standard for legal aid cases shall be determined by the province. The judicial administrative department of the people's government of an autonomous region or municipality directly under the Central Government shall, in conjunction with the financial department at the same level, check and approve according to the local economic development level and with reference to factors such as the average cost of handling various legal aid cases by legal aid institutions, and may make adjustments as needed.
