It depends on whether there are consequences, that is, whether it constitutes a minor injury or a serious injury. If it constitutes a minor or serious injury, the hitter is suspected of intentional injury. Minor injuries are cases of private prosecution. You can bring a lawsuit directly to the court to demand that he be investigated for criminal responsibility, and you can claim compensation for economic losses in an incidental civil lawsuit. Serious injury is a public prosecution case. You can report it to the public security organ, which will transfer it to the procuratorate after investigation, and the procuratorate will file a public prosecution with the court after examination, and the court will make a judgment. You can also file an incidental civil action at the same time.

Article 234 Whoever intentionally harms another person's body shall be sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment of not more than three years, criminal detention or public surveillance.

Whoever commits the crime mentioned in the preceding paragraph and causes serious injuries shall be sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment of not less than three years but not more than ten years; Whoever causes death or serious disability by particularly cruel means shall be sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment of not less than 10 years, life imprisonment or death. Where there are other provisions in this Law, such provisions shall prevail.

Article 77 If the victim suffers material losses due to the criminal acts of the defendant, he has the right to bring an incidental civil action in criminal proceedings.

If state property or collective property suffers losses, the people's procuratorate may bring an incidental civil action when it brings a public prosecution.

When necessary, the people's court may seal up or detain the defendant's property.
