What should I learn as a lawyer?

A lawyer refers to a practitioner who has obtained a lawyer's practice certificate according to law, accepts entrustment or assignment, and provides legal services to the parties.

According to the nature of work, lawyers can be divided into full-time lawyers and part-time lawyers; according to their business scope, lawyers can be divided into civil lawyers, criminal lawyers and administrative lawyers; according to their clients and working status, lawyers can be divided into social lawyers, corporate lawyers and public lawyers. Lawyer's business is mainly divided into litigation business and non-litigation business.

Lawyers need to obtain a lawyer's qualification certificate to practice. Article 5 of China's Lawyers Law stipulates that "a lawyer must obtain a lawyer's qualification and practice certificate before practicing." Article 6 stipulates two ways to obtain the qualification of lawyer: passing the national unified examination and being examined and approved by the judicial administrative department.

Article 5 of the Lawyers Law stipulates that to apply for practicing as a lawyer, the following conditions shall be met:

(a) support the constitution of People's Republic of China (PRC);

(2) Having passed the national unified judicial examination;

(3) Having worked as an intern in a law firm for one year;

(4) Good conduct.

Therefore, lawyers should be proficient in common legal issues and be competent for their own work. In the future lawyer work, according to their own situation, we can gradually dabble in the legal professional fields that we are interested in, and strive to become an expert in a certain legal service field.
