1. The public security organ is an important tool of the people's democratic dictatorship, and the people's police is an armed national public security administrative force and criminal justice force, which undertakes the duties of preventing, stopping and punishing illegal and criminal activities according to law, protecting the people, serving economic and social development, safeguarding national security and maintaining social order;

4. The Judicial Bureau is responsible for community correction, resettlement education, legal publicity, lawyer defense, notarization and arbitration within its jurisdiction.
Regulations on judicial duties
Article 8
Specific responsibilities The judicial office shall perform the following duties according to law:
(a) to guide the people's mediation, professional mediation and administrative mediation within the jurisdiction, and to participate in the mediation of major and complicated disputes.
(two) to organize the work of grassroots legal governance, guide and promote the construction of grassroots legal culture.
(three) entrusted by community correction institutions to undertake community correction related work.
(four) to coordinate the relevant departments and units to organize the resettlement of released prisoners.
(five) entrusted by legal aid institutions, accepting legal aid applications and conducting preliminary examination, providing legal advisory services and providing guidance for lawyers, notaries, judicial expertise, arbitration and other legal business needs.
(six) responsible for the coordination of administrative law enforcement within the jurisdiction.
(seven) to guide and supervise the work of grassroots legal service offices, township (street) public legal service workstations and village (community) public legal service studios.
(eight) to undertake or coordinate and guide the legal advisory work of the Township People's Government (street offices), and to guide and supervise the legal advisory work of the village (community).
(nine) to participate in the collection of legislative suggestions for the society and assist in the selection of people's jurors.
(ten) to complete other tasks entrusted by laws and regulations to the county (city, district, banner) judicial bureau.
