Legal subjectivity: The Economic Investigation Brigade belongs to the internal functional department of the public security organ, and the summoning method is the same as that of the general public security organ. When the economic investigation department of the public security organ summons a criminal suspect, it may require the party concerned to go to a designated place for interrogation. If it fails to perform without justifiable reasons, it may be summoned by force. If compulsory summons is required, a petition report shall be filled in with relevant materials and submitted to the person in charge of the public security organ at or above the county level for approval.

Article 119 of the Criminal Procedure Law stipulates that a criminal suspect who does not need to be arrested or detained may be summoned to a designated place in the city or county where the criminal suspect is located or to his residence for interrogation, but the documents of the people's procuratorate or the public security organ shall be produced. A criminal suspect found at the scene may be summoned orally, but it shall be indicated in the interrogation record.
