China Electronic Commerce Association (CECA) is a national association applied by the Ministry of Information Industry, approved by the State Council and registered by the Ministry of Civil Affairs. Its business activities are guided by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and supervised by the Ministry of Civil Affairs. The Association was established in Beijing on June 2, 2000, with Comrade Song Ling as the first president and its headquarters in Beijing.
Purpose of the association

Established in accordance with the laws of People's Republic of China (PRC), oriented to e-commerce, not limited by regions, departments, industries and ownership, and voluntarily joined by enterprises, institutions and individuals related to e-commerce.
