The Credit Information Center of China People's Bank is a public institution directly under the People's Bank of China. Its main responsibility is to be responsible for the construction, operation and management of the national unified enterprise and individual credit information basic database and movable property financing registration system according to the national laws and regulations and the rules of the People's Bank of China. Inquiry method of personal credit report
According to the Financial Credit Information Database (Banking Credit Information Center No.97 [20 13]):
Individuals can inquire about personal credit reports in person or by entrusted agents.
(1) I check the credit report.
If an individual inquires about a credit report at the inquiry point, he/she shall provide the original of his/her valid identity document for inspection, fill in the Application Form for Inquiring about Personal Credit Report, and keep a copy of his/her valid identity document for future reference.
Valid identification documents include: ID card (the second-generation ID card must be copied on both sides), military officer's card, soldier's card, passport, Hong Kong and Macao residents' pass to and from the mainland, Taiwan Province compatriots' pass to and from the mainland, and foreigner's residence permit.
(2) Entrusting others to inquire about the credit report.
Where an agent inquires about a personal credit report at the inquiry point, the agent shall provide the original valid identity documents of the principal and the agent and the notarized power of attorney for inspection, fill in the Application Form for Inquiring about Personal Credit Report, and keep copies of the valid identity documents of the principal and the agent and the notarized power of attorney for future reference.
