brief introduction
The construction project of Chaoshan Ring Expressway is located in the periphery of Shantou City, passing through six districts and counties of Shantou, Chaozhou and Jieyang in eastern Guangdong in a semicircle, and together with Shenhai Expressway (Shantou, Fen and Shenshan), it forms the ring expressway in Chaoshan area. At the same time, five expressways, two national highways and eight provincial highways, namely Shenshan, Shanzhan, Chaohui, Shan Mei and Shanfen, are connected in series, connecting Jieyang Chaoshan Airport, Shantou Seaport and Xiamen-Shenzhen Railway Station, and crossing several rivers such as Lianjiang, Rongjiang and Hanjiang, forming a fast channel connecting Chaoshan Plain with cities (counties) in eastern Guangdong, and it is also a convenient channel from Shantou, xiamen-shenzhen railway to Chaoshan Airport and Chaoshan Station. The total length of the main line of the project is 53.9 kilometers (40.8 kilometers in Shantou, 3.9 kilometers in Jieyang and 9.2 kilometers in Chaozhou).

The first phase of the project is located in Didu Town, Rongcheng Airport District, Jieyang City, Tuolian Street, jinping district City, Xiqiao Town, Hexi Town, Jinpu Street, Wenguang Street and Dujing Town, Chaonan District. The starting point is located in the north of Junmin Village, Didu Town, Rongcheng District, Jieyang City. Y-shaped hub interchange is set to connect the existing Shantou-Meizhou Expressway, and the route is set to cross Pu Sang Mountain to the south and enter Shantou jinping district along the west side of Shantou Substation. A super-large bridge will be built on Rongjiang River, with the route going south through Xiqiao Town and Hexi Town, crossing the proposed Shantou-Zhanjiang Expressway in front of Xihuan Mountain Range, crossing Xihuan Mountain Range and Lianjiang River, entering Chaonan District and connecting with shenyang-haikou expressway in Dujing Town. At the same time, the first phase of the project also set up a Chaoshan connection line in Chaoyang District. The Chaoshan connecting line starts from Xilu Town, Chaoyang District, Shantou City, and is connected with the main line through the Sangtian Hub Interchange. The route passes through Xilu Town, crosses provincial highway S234 and crosses xiamen-shenzhen railway. Then the route flows into the corridor of the provincial highway S234, and a viaduct is set on the provincial highway S234 until it is separated from the provincial highway S234 near Shezailong, passes through the open space between Houyuan Village and Xinxicun Village, and between Xiashu Village and Dadonghu Village, and finally reaches Jinzao, Chaoyang District, Shantou City. The main line is about 35.947km long, the tunnel is 4725m/4, and the bridge is 28874m/1,of which the extra-large bridge is 25867m/5, and the main span of Rongjiang Extra-large Bridge is 40+160+400+160+40m. There are 9 interchanges (including 6 service interchanges and 3 hub interchanges), and the bridge-tunnel ratio is 93.5%. The Chaoshan connecting line is about 15. 152km long, and there are 8 bridges12420m (including separation of main spans), including 3 extra-large bridges 1 17 18m/3 large and medium-sized bridges. There are 3 interchanges, 2 of which are connected with expressways, and 1 is connected with local roads.
The second phase of the project is located in Chenghai District of Shantou City, Chaoan District of Chaozhou City, Airport District of Rongcheng District and Jiedong District of Jieyang City. The starting point of the recommended scheme is located near Bisha Village, Lianhua Town, Chenghai District, Shantou City, which is connected with provincial highway S335. The route extends westward along the south side of Xitou Village and Hu Yi Village, and the hub is located at the intersection of Shanfen Expressway on the north side of Longdu Town. Then the route passes through xiamen-shenzhen railway, and the route continues to the west, crossing Han Jiangdong on the north side of Jingmei Village and Jiangdong Town. The line near Shanggezhou, longhu town turns southwest along the south side of Dongsheng Village, passes through the south side of Hubin Village and Houguo Village, crosses Chaoshan Road on the north side of Chang Song Middle School, continues westward along the existing Xingchao Avenue corridor on the north side of xiamen-shenzhen railway, rebuilds the existing Deng Gang Interchange to connect with Shantou-Meizhou Expressway on the northwest side of Pan Cheng Village, and finally connects with Shantou-Meizhou Expressway at the beginning of the first phase of the project. Chenghai connecting line is about 8.8km long, the main line is about 20.46km long, and the length of Shantou-Meizhou Expressway is about10.8km..
