Travels of Wuhou Temple:
The rolling Yangtze River water disappears eastward, and the waves wash away heroes. Success or failure turns empty, Qingshan is still there, how many times will the sunset be red? The white-haired hermit by the river has long been used to the changes of time. A pot of turbid wine likes to meet, and how many things have happened in ancient and modern times, all in a joke, walking in Wuhou Temple, the holy place of the Three Kingdoms culture, and this song has been circulating in my ear.
The first time I went to Wuhou Temple, there was always a question: the plaque of Hanzhaolie Temple in memory of Emperor Liu Bei of Hanzhaolie was obviously hung on the gate, but everyone called it Wuhou Temple in memory of Zhuge Liang.
Hanzhaolie temple
It turns out that according to the Han system, there must be a temple when there is a mausoleum, and a temple was built next to the mausoleum when it was built. After Liu Bei's death, posthumous title Zhaolie was named Han Zhaolie Temple.
Later, in memory of Zhuge Liang, people built Wuhou Temple next to the temple. In the early Ming Dynasty, Wuhou Temple was merged into Zhaolie Temple. In the early Qing Dynasty, it was rebuilt as a temple for monarchs and ministers. However, the world has great respect for Zhuge Liang's dedication to the country and the people, and is always used to calling this place Wuhou Temple.
Wuhou Temple can be traced back to AD 223. Liu Bei retreated to Baidicheng after failing to attack Wu, and died in Yong 'an Palace in April. In May, Zhuge Liang helped to transport the coffin back to Chengdu, and was buried in August, known as Hui Ling in history. Huiling Mausoleum consists of zhaobi, Shanmen, Shinto, bedroom and mausoleum. The enclosure of the tomb is 12m and the perimeter is 180m, which is circular. There are also two queens in the mausoleum, Mrs. Gan and Mrs. Wu, who are buried together.
In front of the mausoleum, there is a dome monument carved during the Qianlong period, and the body of the monument is engraved with seven powerful characters of the Han Zhaolie Mausoleum. There is a sleeping hall in front of the mausoleum, and the plaque is awe-inspiring, indicating that generations are awe-inspiring. The tomb couplet I _ soil is still towering, which is a barren platform for him. Where can I find the suspected tomb of Zhanghe River? The three pillars are now safe and sound, leaving this ancient stone scale road, which is reminiscent of the court etiquette of the Han Dynasty.
The red wall passage surrounds both sides of Huiling Gate. This passage can be said to be the gentlest part of the solemn Wuhou Temple, the passage of the red wall and Qingshi Road, leading to a generation of kings who have been sleeping for more than 1780 years. There are many bamboos outside the red wall. In this way, the whole red wall is hidden in the green bamboo forest. The sun shines through the bamboo forest, leaving the shadow of bamboo on the red wall. When the wind blows bamboo leaves, the green bamboo overflowing the wall gently shakes over your head, and the shadow on the red wall keeps shaking.
Walking on this long and narrow passage, thinking about the past and thinking hard, historical scenes will continue to emerge in front of you; Looking back, everything recorded in the ancestral hall seems to flash back to today's reality.
After reading the Ming Monument and the Tang Monument, we can see the four big characters on the second door, meaning that a wise monarch like Liu Bei and a good minister like Zhuge Liang can serve as models for future generations.
Between the Second Gate and the Hall of Zhaolie, on the left is the gallery of military commanders headed by Zhao Yun, and on the right is the gallery of civil servants headed by Pang Tong. The life story of each of these 28 civilian military commanders is a wonderful chapter in the history of the Three Kingdoms. The stone carving of the "model" inlaid between the south wall of the cloister on both sides of the second door is said to have been written by Yue Fei, a famous anti-gold star in the Southern Song Dynasty.

Zhaolie Hall is the highest and most magnificent. Liu Bei, with a wide face and big ears, sat in the temple, wearing a crown and royal clothes. Among Liu Bei's many descendants, only his grandson Liu Chen accompanied him on his left. The east side of the hall is dedicated to Guan Yu, who reads the generals in the Spring and Autumn Period at night, surrounded by Guan Yu's sons Guan Xing, Zhou Lei and Guan Yu's peerless magic dragon crescent moon blade; In the West Pian Hall, three grandparents and grandchildren of Zhang Fei are enshrined.
Back from Zhaolie Hall, there is Wuhou Temple. Zhuge Liang was named marquis of Wuxiang before his death, and posthumous title was loyal to marquis of Wuxiang after his death. Later generations respectfully called him Wuhou, and all the ancestral temples commemorating him were called Wuhou Temple. Wuhou Temple is composed of Jingyuan Hall, Guoting Hall and East and West Wing, which is quadrangular. The scale is small, and the foundation is lower than Zhaolie Temple, which is intended to reflect the difference between monarch and minister.
Hanging in the hall are plaques and couplets inscribed by Dong, Guo Moruo, Feng Yuxiang, Xu Beihong and Guo Taizi. It is intended to praise Zhuge Liang. Among them, the most famous are Guo Moruo's Temple of Wuhou and Xu Beihong's The Sky is Like a Feather. The antithetical couplets of the temple master are three summonses, focusing on state affairs, talking about the feelings of ancient and modern times, and determined to be a model for Fu Liang.
Zhuge Liang Temple, also known as Jingyuan Temple, comes from a sentence in the book of commandments written by Zhuge Liang to his son: Unless you are indifferent, you can't be clear-minded, unless you are quiet, you can't stay away. Therefore, later generations named his temple or temple after Jing and Yuan. Zhuge Liang Temple is the focus of the whole Wuhou Temple. In the middle is a statue of Zhuge Liang, a feather fan and a black scarf. It seems that there are millions of soldiers in the chest, and there are thousands of tricks. On both sides are statues of Zhuge Liang's son Zhuge Zhan and grandson Zhuge Shang. In order to defend their country, the two men died in the battle of Wei Jun attacking Shu in 263 AD led by Wargo.
After Wuhou Temple is Sanyi Temple. Originally located in Fuyin Street, Chengdu, it was built during the reign of Kangxi. Due to the need of urban construction, it was moved to Wuhou Temple on 1997. Building accessories, decorative boards, etc. They are all original materials. Now Sanyi Temple consists of a worship hall, a main hall and two cloisters. There are clay sculptures of Liu Bei, Guan Yu and Zhang Fei in the hall. The couplets of Sanyi Temple ranked third. They died and now enjoy worshipping their companions. Fighting for righteousness, since yesterday, Ming Xun is a bandit.
He Jiong Tower is located in the north of the lotus pond in the temple. It is named after facing the lotus and surrounded by various osmanthus trees. This is the only place from the ancestral temple to Liu Bei's cemetery. Rest on the longmumeiren downstairs in He Jiong, enjoy the green leaves and red lotus in the pool, and chew and taste the profound history and culture of Wuhou.
Where can I find the Shuxiang ancestral temple, deep in a pine forest near the Silk City? The steps are dotted with green grass in spring, and birds are chirping happily under the leaves. The third call aggravated his state affairs, and he gave his sincerity to two generations. But before he conquered, he died, and since then the heroes have been crying on their coats. After visiting Wuhou Temple, this poem has been rolling in my heart.
Bai Gu
Since ancient times, people have compared noble integrity with cypress trees. Liu Bei's testamentary edict instructed that the funeral should follow the example of Liu Heng, the emperor of the Western Han Dynasty.
Baling in Liu Heng can't afford a grave, but cypress trees are planted on it. So Zhuge Liang and his ministers planted cypress trees in Liu Bei's cemetery. These cypresses were later owned by Liu Beiling Temple and Wuhou Temple, and finally Bai Sensen became the landscape symbol of Wuhou Temple. Through Sensen Cooper, I realized the transcendental character of Zhuge Liang, a loyal minister and sage.
And before he could conquer, he died, and the heroes cried on their coats from now on. Isn't this the fate of two * * *? The wheel of history rolled forward and crushed the past. Where is the tripod now? Once the success or failure of right and wrong turned into nothingness, the green hills were still there, and the sunset glow was red several times.
Wuhou Temple is the only temple in China where both monarch and minister worship together. Wuhou Temple is one of the must-see attractions in Chengdu.
