Chancheng District is one of the five administrative districts in Foshan, and it is also one of the members of "Chan Gui Xin" in downtown Foshan, which consists of Chancheng, Guicheng and Foshan New Town. Located in the middle of Guangdong Province, at the northwest end of the Pearl River Delta; Foshan, the third largest city in Guangdong, is adjacent to many famous cities in the Pearl River Delta, such as Guangzhou and Shenzhen, and is the "center" of politics, economy, science and education, culture and health.
Originally named Foshan Town, Zumiao Street in Chancheng District is one of the four famous towns in ancient China, one of the four largest gathering places in the world, one of the birthplaces of Lingnan culture and a national historical and cultural city. It is a famous hometown of martial arts, medicine and Quyi, and eight historical and cultural blocks are intensively preserved. Chancheng District is the birthplace of Cantonese opera and one of the birthplaces of Lingnan culture. There is the ancestral temple, one of the four famous gardens in Lingnan, and the Huang Feihong Museum, which embodies the essence of China Wushu.
