The school has set up 35 higher vocational majors such as applied electronic technology, software technology, numerical control technology, information security and management, Internet of Things application technology, industrial robot technology, intelligent control technology and e-commerce. At present, there are 2 majors to improve professional service ability supported by the central government, 3 national backbone majors, 2 pilot majors of modern apprenticeship reform in the Ministry of Education, and 5 provincial pilot majors. Completed 14 provincial quality courses, 8 provincial quality resources * * * courses and 12 provincial quality online open courses.
With the support of building a library and setting up a city, the College has strengthened the linkage among the government, enterprises and schools, built four development platforms (innovation and entrepreneurship platform, school-enterprise cooperation platform, group school-running platform and technical service platform), formed a "144" school-running mode of "one support, four linkages and four platforms", and took the lead in establishing Sichuan Electronic Information Industry Vocational Education Alliance and Guangyuan Vocational Education. Establish innovative practice bases such as JD.COM Southwest E-commerce Logistics Institute, Huadi IT Industry Institute, New World Internet of Things Institute, Huawei Information and Network Technology (ICT) Institute, Information Security Institute, Siemens Advanced Automation Technology Joint Demonstration and Training Center, Rockwell Intelligent Manufacturing Collaborative Innovation Center and HPE Southwest Software Evaluation Center. As well as a number of technical centers such as Guangyuan Academician (Expert) Workstation and Guangyuan Big Data Engineering Application Center, Sichuan Electronic Information Industry-Education Integration Collaborative Education Base has formed a platform of "five institutes and four centers 1", and has embarked on a characteristic development road of higher vocational education "rooting in the information industry, cultivating information talents and serving the information society".
