According to the data of China Public Transport Statistics Information Network, in July, 2020, China sold 4,026 new energy buses over 6 meters, down 37.33% from the previous month, and the year-on-year decline suddenly expanded from 5. 19% in June to 65.62%. Why did the year-on-year decline in July suddenly increase so much in the new energy bus market, where the monthly decline has gradually narrowed for four consecutive months?

It turned out that last July was the last full month of the implementation of the subsidy policy for new energy buses. Only Yutong and BYD have sold more than 1000 vehicles, while other mainstream enterprises have sold less than 250 vehicles, among which Xiamen Jinlong, Xiamen Jinlv and Kaiwo have not sold 100 vehicles. The difficulty of survival is obvious.

Shanghai Shenwo, Futian Ouhui and FAW Bus once again attracted attention in July. After the sales volume of Foton Ouhui increased by 198.47% in June, the growth rate in July further increased, reaching 335.29%, and the monthly ranking remained in the top five; FAW Bus sold 100 new energy buses in May, 155 new energy buses in June and 125 new energy buses in July. Only 30 new energy buses were sold from June to July last year. It can be said that this year's performance is particularly impressive!

In terms of market share, Yutong and BYD, with their "extraordinary" performance, have a monthly share of 29.09% and 25.68% respectively in the new energy bus market, and the sum of their shares exceeds 54%, making their leading position enviable.

After the "seven-day losing streak" in the overall market? Who is still growing against the trend?

Although the sales volume of the new energy bus market has declined for seven consecutive months this year, some enterprises have found more vitality and achieved positive growth year-on-year. Who are they?

The first thing to say is BYD. BYD sold a total of 39 15 new energy buses from June to July this year, up 7 1.79% year-on-year, which not only achieved positive growth, but also greatly improved its market position compared with the whole year of last year and the same period, ranking second in the industry, with a market share of 16.73%, while the share of enterprises ranked second in previous years was less than 60%.

Followed by Shanghai Shenwo. Shanghai Shenwo sold 1244 new energy buses from June to July this year, up 180. 18% year-on-year, especially in April, June and July. Since entering the top ten cumulative sales in April, Shanghai Shenwo has maintained its advantage. In addition to BYD and Shanghai Shenwo, Suzhou Jinlong Haige Bus is also the top ten enterprises with positive cumulative sales growth.
