The College also attaches great importance to scientific research and the construction of campus humanistic environment, actively expands international exchanges and cooperation, learns from others' strengths, promotes diversified school-running mode, always adheres to the German dual-system characteristic school-running mode of "integration of production, learning and research", and strives to implement the school-running strategy of "building a school with morality, running a school according to law, strengthening a school with research school characteristics". And put forward the idea of theory+practice. Over the years, we have created "consistent" (through train for secondary school, junior college, undergraduate and postgraduate education), "perfect" (complete diploma and employment certificate), "three highs" (high rate of going abroad, high employment rate and high salary), "four highs" (the largest number of textbooks, the largest number of patent applications, the largest number of industry standards and the largest number of professional features in China) and "five highs". The new pattern of college characteristic education has made graduates in short supply over the years and truly achieved high-quality employment for students. Up to now, employers have booked nearly 10,000 graduates in 2007, 2008 and 2009. The employment level is in the forefront of private colleges and universities in China.

The college aims to cultivate students' firm political stance and noble moral sentiment, solid professional foundation and rich practical ability, and to maximize the development of students' innovative and entrepreneurial abilities. To this end, in the daily teaching process, the college has added a course of college students' career planning, set up a studio of college students' entrepreneurial dynamics and psychological counseling, and formulated a complete set of career planning files for each student's different blood type, personality and temperament, which has been continuously tracked and adjusted for three years, and has also formulated a series of entrepreneurial policies. After graduation, for students with mature entrepreneurial conditions, the college and graduates will jointly set up a company and implement joint-stock cooperation. Therefore, the students in our college began to accept the advanced concept of entrepreneurship education from the very beginning, and constantly enhanced their entrepreneurial awareness. In recent years, a large number of successful entrepreneurial models have emerged among the graduates of our college. The college's characteristic entrepreneurship has attracted students from all over the country and even abroad. High-paying employment is not the ultimate pursuit of Haitang students. Entrepreneurship has become popular among Haitang students, and Haitang College has become an incubator for college students' entrepreneurship.
