Development course of ITAT education project of Ministry of Education

On May 26th, 2000, the national information technology application training and education project was officially launched in Shaw Conference Center of the Ministry of Education. Xian Liting, director of the Education Management Information Center of the Ministry of Education, Song Chengdong, director of the Office of the Audio-visual Education Committee of the Ministry of Education, Zhou Quansheng, director of China Education Television, deputy director of the Education Management Information Center of the Ministry of Education, deputy director of the Higher Education Department of the Ministry of Education and deputy director of the Ethnic Education Department of the Ministry of Education Abdul attended the meeting, including leaders from training bases of universities across the country.

The original intention of this project is to implement the central government's strategy of giving priority to the development of science and education in the western region, implement the spirit of the Ministry of Education on vigorously developing distance education in China, apply modern distance education technology to carry out information technology training, meet the needs of schools and society for practical and emerging information technology training, and cultivate applied information technology talents.

June 5438+October 2000 10, "China Modern Distance Education Satellite Broadband Multimedia Transmission Platform" was officially opened, and the first batch of ITAT training courseware was broadcast nationwide through this platform. Chen Zhili, then Minister of Education, attended the meeting and personally pressed the button to start the platform. Wei Yu, then Vice Minister of Education, delivered a speech at the meeting, and Xian Liting, Director of Education Management Information Center of the Ministry of Education, delivered a congratulatory message. Modern distance education in China has moved from the era when radio and television are the main receiving media to a new era when computers are the receiving media and television and computers are combined. Modern distance education technology in China has developed to a new level.

In June 2002, the Education Management Information Center of the Ministry of Education, China Computer Education Newspaper and Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. jointly held a seminar on "Information Campus and Modern IT Training" in Xi and Chengdu respectively. The meeting invited the leaders of the education authorities in the two places, the school-level leaders and department leaders in charge of information technology in colleges and universities, and absorbed some college students who were concerned about information training. The meeting discussed the open network education, the development trend of educational informatization, the training of information technology talents and the construction of campus network. Through the introduction and courseware demonstration at the meeting, the ITAT education project has been widely publicized and recognized, and has been widely welcomed.

In July, 2002, the 2002 working conference of the national ITAT education project was successfully held in Xiamen. Director Xue and Deputy Director Yu Hong made detailed reports on the development of the 200 1 project, cooperation with other parts and well-known IT enterprises, engineering teaching and scientific research, etc. Up to this meeting, the project has set up more than 500 training bases and resource users throughout the country. More than 500 authorized training bases * * * have unified image, unified training standards and unified technical certificates, which is making the ITAT education project a household name and deeply rooted in people's hearts.

In August, 2002, the online training courseware of ITAT was officially launched. Training bases all over the country can download and transmit the courseware through CERnet, which improves the updating speed of the courseware and has received enthusiastic response from various bases.

From 200/kloc-0 to 2002, in order to better implement the distinctive training characteristics of the national ITAT education project, that is, to combine self-help learning with professional teachers' counseling and consultation, so that teachers can adapt to teaching by using modern educational means, understand students' learning psychology, and thus improve the training effect of the ITAT education project, the Education Management Information Center of the Ministry of Education successfully held three teacher trainings, which were welcomed and recognized by the participating teachers. This teacher training activity has become an important routine activity of ITAT education project to improve teachers' level and exchange teaching experience.

On June 5438- 10, 2003, the theme was "The Third China Digital Education Summit Forum", sponsored by the Education Management Information Center of the Ministry of Education and supported by the Science and Technology Department and the Vocational Education Department of the Ministry of Education. More than 300 representatives, including school leaders, educational (scientific) research institutes, principals, teachers, and heads of education information management departments of various provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government, attended. During this forum, multimedia courseware contest and award-winning courseware exchange meeting were organized at the same time. The winners were awarded certificates by the Education Management Information Center of the Ministry of Education, and the winning courseware was effectively promoted through the ITAT education project.

From June 5, 2004 to 10, the ITAT education project held many campus lectures in universities in Wuhan, Taiyuan and other places. The lectures are "learning practical operation to improve employability" and "the project to revitalize the national information industry and the opportunity to help you realize your future ideals!" As the theme, engineering leaders and experts are in close contact with college students, so that more students can understand engineering for the first time, enter engineering, study engineering and apply engineering.

From May to July, 2005, in order to test the teaching effect of ITAT education project and students' practical ability, the Education Management Information Center of the Ministry of Education held the first national ITAT education project employment skills competition. Competition * * * received more than 3,000 valid entries, ***248 people won awards at all levels, 9 of them won the grand prize, * * * 1358 people passed the exam, and nearly 100 universities across the country participated in the organization of this competition. The success of this competition is not only a summary of the achievements of ITAT education project in the past five years, but also a further clarification of the development goal of the project: to establish the first brand of IT vocational skills training in China and cultivate qualified skilled IT talents for the country.

In August and June, 2005, the project held working meetings in Shaoxing and Beijing respectively. In the content of the meeting, invigilator training and invigilator assessment were specially added. This invigilator training mainly includes a comprehensive introduction of ITAT education projects, an explanation of the latest training plan, an introduction of examination management methods, an interpretation of invigilators' agreements, an introduction of courses incorporated into the teaching plan mode, the latest certification database and a demonstration of the upcoming examination system. After completing the training of invigilators, the engineering working group also assessed the teachers who participated in the training of invigilators, and the teachers who met the standards were finally hired as invigilators for ITAT education projects.

On May 26th, 2006, the Education Management Information Center of the Ministry of Education held the opening ceremony of ITAT Education Network, the exclusive distance learning platform for ITAT education projects, in Peking University International Building. ITAT Education Network has been strongly supported by China Top Ten Brand Education Groups and Bao Zheng Education Group, the leader and leader of distance education in China. It is an active exploration to carry out information technology and application skills training under the network environment under the new situation of information wave, a beneficial attempt to achieve a major technological breakthrough in ITAT education project and comprehensively enhance social influence, and push ITAT education project to a new development stage. With the opening of ITAT Education Network, the training mode of "full video teaching by famous teachers and 24-hour online answering questions by experts" has been warmly welcomed by the vast number of learners, thus achieving the goal of "rapidly cultivating practical information technology talents and comprehensively improving the comprehensive quality of the whole people, especially the quality of applying information technology"!

From June 5th to February 5th, 2006, the 2nd National ITAT Education Engineering Employment Skills Competition came to a successful conclusion. The competition was held in Beijing, Tianjin, Shanghai, Wuhan, Nanjing, Hangzhou, Guangzhou, Xi, Qingdao, Harbin and Urumqi 1 1 cities.

Mainly for students in colleges and vocational and technical schools. This competition produced 5 grand prizes, 20 first prizes and 53 second prizes, which were highly concerned and highly praised by participating universities, IT circles in the capital and media in the education front.

From June 5th to 10, 2007, the 3rd National ITAT Education Engineering Employment Skills Competition, jointly organized by Education Management Information Center of the Ministry of Education and Bao Zheng Distance Education, ended. The contest was held in 20 cities, and a series of campus activities were held in some cities. * * * won the first, second and third prizes * * * in total 1756.

A special activity, Renesas Super MCU Model Car Competition, was added to this competition, which was sponsored by Renesas Technology Co., Ltd. and gave technical guidance ... * * * attracted 7 1 teams from universities in China such as Tsinghua and Huazhong University of Science and Technology. Each team consists of 3 students and 1 instructor. The competition is divided into two parts: the preliminary competition and the final competition. The content of the competition not only assessed the professional level of students in embedded system development, automatic control and machinery, but also emphasized the teamwork of the participating teams. In addition, the composition of the race track was temporarily decided by the organizers, which also made the whole race suspense, hot atmosphere and fierce competition.

From June 5438, 2007 to February, 2007, by the end of 2007, ITAT Education Project had developed 94 kinds of teaching materials and 73 kinds of courseware, and built a courseware resource library with the widest curriculum coverage and the largest resources in China.

In August 2008, ITAT-PRO, which aims at training professional IT talents, was officially launched. ITAT-PRO is the abbreviation of professional certification training of ITAT education engineering. IT is a high-end certification training program based on ITAT education project and aimed at cultivating professional IT talents. It is an important part of ITAT education project.

In September 2008, Bao Zheng Training School, the first training base of ITAT education project, began to formally accept practical students from all over the country.

From June 5th to February 5th, 2008, the 4th ITAT Employment Skills Competition of Bao Zheng Education Cup came to a successful conclusion. A steering committee was established for the first time to guide and supervise all aspects of the competition, and Professor Zhou, former vice minister of the Ministry of Education and president of China Higher Education Association, was invited as the director of the steering committee, and relevant leaders of provincial education departments in each participating region served as members of the steering committee.

The contest was held in 26 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions, and more than 80,000 students from 665 and 438+08 universities participated. In the end, there were 27 excellent prizes19, third prize 1552, second prize 182 and 42 first prizes. At the same time, in order to encourage college students in Sichuan earthquake-stricken areas, our center has decided to award an extra 5,000 yuan to students who won the special prize in Sichuan Province and an extra 2,000 yuan to students who won the first prize. There is no precedent in China for such a large-scale employment skill competition aimed at improving students' information technology literacy and practical ability.
