Why are bananas called "fruits of wisdom"?

Banana, with delicate fragrance, soft and glutinous meat, sweet and refreshing, is one of the favorite fruits. Legend has it that Sakyamuni, the ancestor of Buddhism, gained wisdom after eating bananas, so he regarded bananas as "the fruit of wisdom".

Bananas are native to India and Malaysia. Our country was cultivated by Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty. It is recorded in Hanshu Sanfu that Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty built the Li Palace in the sixth year (BC 1 165438). There are two kinds of trees, one is banana tree, and the other is exotic grass. Bananas did not appear in West Africa until the 7th century, and were handed down by Arab merchants. It was later spread to western Europe and America.
