Founded in the 19th year of Changzhi 1958, it was originally Changgang Children's Middle School and later renamed Changgang Middle School. In 2007, the enterprise was placed under the management of the Municipal Education Bureau, and in 2008, it was changed from 1 1 to its current name.
The school covers an area of 29,398.6 square meters and is a complete middle school with eight tracks in junior high school and senior high school. There are 48 classes with more than 2,400 students and 195 faculty members, including 37 senior teachers and 65 first-class teachers. In the second half of 2020, the principal will be replaced, including Lian Angang and Ji Jiangbo.
