What does Tongji Sino-German Project mean?

Tongji Sino-German Project is a new cross-cultural exchange platform established by the Chinese and German governments at Tongji University in Shanghai, aiming at increasing cultural and scientific exchanges. The teaching of this project focuses on engineering, and adopts the engineer training mode of combining Chinese and western, with many courses and great difficulty. English and German are two foreign languages, and foreign languages are taught for more than 60 class hours.

The partner of Tongji Sino-German Project is a university federation composed of 28 German applied universities. The project has set up four undergraduate majors: automobile service engineering, mechanical and electronic engineering, building electricity and intelligence, and logistics management. All majors have passed AQAS professional qualification certification and are listed as typical cases of international cooperation in running schools. College is a demonstration institution of Sino-foreign cooperation in running schools in Shanghai.
