China CITIC Bank's international remittance process and matters needing attention
1. The customer holds the ID card and fills in the relevant remittance information.
Information to be filled in: name, address and SWIFT code of the overseas bank; Name and account number of payee. Customers fill in the Application for Personal Purchase of Foreign Exchange, Foreign Currency Exchange Certificate and Application for Overseas Remittance.
2. Tips:
Remittance of foreign currency savings account funds with a cumulative equivalent of less than 50,000 US dollars (inclusive) on the day of overseas remittance shall be handled at the bank with my valid identity certificate; If it exceeds the above amount, it shall be handled with the authenticity certificate of the transaction amount under the current account.
Remittance of overseas funds in foreign currency cash, with the cumulative equivalent of US$ 654.38+US$ 00,000 (inclusive) on the same day, shall be handled at the bank with my valid identity certificate; If the amount exceeds the above amount, it shall be handled by the authenticity certificate of the transaction amount under the current account, the Declaration Form for Luggage and Articles of Inbound Passengers in People's Republic of China (PRC) and China Customs signed by the customs, or the foreign currency cash withdrawal certificate of my original bank.
Customers are not advised to bring foreign currency cash directly before handling, otherwise they will have to pay the difference between paper money and foreign exchange; You can purchase RMB and foreign exchange directly at the counter for remittance. Generally, it can be remitted within 2-5 working days.
