Suzhou Dushu Lake Library Honor

From June 5th, 2006 to October, 2006/KLOC-0, Suzhou Dushu Lake Library became the only experimental library of the National Library of China. At the end of 2007, with the approval of the Ministry of Science and Technology, it was successfully introduced into the national document service platform of the Ministry of Science and Technology and became the "local service station of the National Science and Technology Document Service Center". In 2008, Robocup volunteer training base, intellectual property training base and vice-chairman unit of Suzhou Science and Technology Association successively settled in the museum, and won honorary titles such as "Suzhou Industrial Park Intellectual Property Advanced Collective", "Suzhou 20th Popular Science Publicity Week Innovation Award", "2008 3rd Suzhou Reading Festival Excellent Organization Award and Excellent Activity Award". In early 2009, it became the designated information service organization for high-level talents in Suzhou, further expanding the influence of library information services on high-level scientific research talents, and it is an important embodiment of Suzhou Dushu Lake Library as an important regional information resource platform and quality service platform.

20 10 On June 8th, Dushu Lake Library in Suzhou Industrial Park celebrated its fifth anniversary, and the national first-class library was officially unveiled. This is another national honor that the museum won after it became the experimental museum of the National Digital Library in 2006, and it is a gift for the fifth anniversary. Lu Kai, researcher of Suzhou New District Bureau, Xia Liu, deputy director of the Social Affairs Bureau of the park, and Cui Guangquan, deputy director of the publicity office of the park attended the unveiling ceremony.

In the past five years, Dushu Lake Library has become an important document information service institution and academic and cultural exchange platform in this area. Zhang Xiaoying, deputy director of Dushu Lake Higher Education Zone Management Office, said in his speech that Dushu Lake Library not only serves universities and scientific research institutions in the higher education zone, but also undertakes the functions of public library in Suzhou Industrial Park, providing high-quality, convenient and fast services such as literature resources and information consultation for government departments, social organizations, scientific research units, high-tech enterprises, scientific and technological workers and the public in the park and surrounding areas, which has become an important guarantee for literature information resources in the region.

It is understood that the evaluation and grading of public libraries at or above the county level in China is organized by the Ministry of Culture and conducted every four years. Strictly check and evaluate from seven aspects: library conditions, basic business construction, reader service, business research guidance and coordination, cultural enjoyment project construction, management, recognition and reward. There are 2234 libraries in China, of which 480 have been awarded the title of "national first-class library".

At present, the park is facing a critical period of the second entrepreneurial transformation and upgrading. Under the background of increasing scientific and technological innovation, Dushu Lake Library adheres to the spirit of "guiding reading, spreading knowledge and contributing to society", and often goes deep into enterprises, schools and communities through lectures, exhibitions, reading promotion and other activities to send books and knowledge to the public, cultivate readers' humanistic quality, further strengthen the construction of regional "lifelong learning" soft environment, build a lifelong learning gas station and create a rich atmosphere.

At the unveiling ceremony, Dushu Lake Library awarded "Lifelong Learning Gas Station" to Zhongxin Group (CSSD), Pukuai Semiconductor (Suzhou) Co., Ltd., Huxi Social Work Committee and shengpu town Cultural and Sports Station. "We hope to build reading rooms through these units, give full play to the advantages of libraries and create a good lifelong learning atmosphere for the park." Rong Lin, director of Dushu Lake Library, told reporters that in the future, the library will build reading rooms with enterprises, institutions, communities, schools and other units in the park, and deliver books and hold lectures for them regularly.
