The remote service of physical geological information website is a remote service that provides users with physical geological information, processed products and consulting clues or results by means of information technology and based on digital information resources through email or real-time interaction. Providing remote service through physical geological information website will be a promising new physical geological information service model. According to the existing service mode of physical geological information website and the remote service mode of other departments, the universality, personalization and interactivity of remote service are preliminarily discussed.

Keywords physical information; Website; Remote service

Physical geological data is one of the achievements of geological work, and its service has been widely concerned. The development of information technology provides a huge space for its services. By establishing corresponding websites through network technology, remote services can be realized in a very wide range.

First, the service model is extensive.

Extensive service means that the physical geological information website provides information services to the public by using the dynamic information held by the physical geological data collection resources. At present, the existing physical geological information websites in China mainly provide the following information:

First, publish the collection information. Under the network environment, all kinds of physical geological archives at all levels publish the largest, most concentrated and richest information, including physical geological data obtained from scientific drilling, marine survey, polar exploration and space exploration, as well as physical geological data reflecting regional geological phenomena, special geological phenomena, important mineral deposits and regional geochemical surveys in China. This kind of information is particularly important because it can directly meet the application needs of users from all walks of life.

Second, provide news and event reports from relevant institutions. In the past, it was difficult to obtain such information, and even if it was obtained, the timeliness of the information could not be guaranteed. However, this information may be very important to geologists or specific users. Through this kind of information, we can keep abreast of the latest news and important activities of geological institutions.

Third, provide information on physical geology publications at home and abroad. Network environment provides unprecedented convenience for the research and utilization of various information in physical geological data. The information in relevant publications helps geologists to grasp the theory and research results of the geological field in time. The publishing information of physical geological data is also a window for users to know the information resources, theoretical and practical work, research trends and research level of all countries in the world.

Fourth, provide relevant laws and regulations on physical geological data. The laws and regulations under the network environment are all newly promulgated by the state. The management system of physical geological data is not perfect, the management is in a relatively chaotic state, and the phenomenon of "rule by man" is more serious, so relevant laws and regulations are of great significance to the management of physical geological data. Relevant laws and regulations mainly include: People's Republic of China (PRC) Mineral Resources Law, People's Republic of China (PRC) Archives Law, Regulations on the Management of Physical Geological Data, Measures for the Administration of National Geological Data Collection, Measures for the Implementation of Geological Data Management Regulations, Measures for the Administration of Registration of Mineral Resources Exploration Blocks, Interim Measures for the Provision and Utilization of Public Welfare Physical Geological Data, and so on.

Second, personalized service methods

Personalized service is a new service mode that actively, timely and accurately provides users with the required information and knowledge according to their specific needs. Its core is the personalized service provided by consultants with specific knowledge. Mainly comprises the following steps:

1) questions are received, and users' questions are obtained through various electronic means.

2) Problem handling: classify and handle the problems, screen the problems that are repeated, handled or beyond the service scope of our library, and decide on different handling methods.

3) Answer, the consultant answers according to his own knowledge and available resources according to the predetermined requirements.

4) Tracking, that is, understanding the handling of each question through the recorded questioning information. Every time you answer a question, the question and answer need to be archived for future query, and gradually form a searchable database.

5) Receiving feedback from readers and whether users are satisfied will directly affect our future work. Since we can't meet users face-to-face like traditional information inquiry and utilization services, and we can't understand users' satisfaction face-to-face, we should pay more attention to the recovery of users' opinions.

Personalized system service, through the application of various data analysis technologies, can not only complete the traditional consulting work of information retrieval, thematic and topic selection services of physical geological data with high quality and efficiency, but also actively recommend resources that users need and have not obtained before according to their professional characteristics and research interests, and further improve the recommendation results according to their feedback on the recommended contents. At present, the research in this field is limited to the field of enterprise knowledge management and service abroad, and the related technologies are still in the stage of discussion and improvement. It should be noted that realizing the deep excavation of digital academic resources and providing effective decision-making consulting services are the development direction of personalized services and the necessity of improving the functions of the service system.

Third, the interactive service mode.

Interactive service is a special service in which the physical geological information department and users exchange their needs through the physical geological information website. You can use the following methods:

First, the combination of real-time consultation and non-real-time consultation. Real-time service is a service system based on network environment, which adopts system software to realize high intelligence and automatic response, and provides one-to-one real-time service with users, or a group of scattered users can be explained by consulting librarians at the same time. Its characteristic is that as long as there is a network, users can request to enjoy information services anytime and anywhere; If the user is unattended when entering the system, the system will automatically ask the user to send a question by email and return the answer to the user after receiving the reply. Real-time interactive consultation is an advantageous consultation method in the remote service of physical geological information website, but its best benefit must be based on strong consulting technical strength, rich consulting experts, high-quality consulting resources and fast network transmission speed. It is unrealistic to reach these targets at this stage. Therefore, giving full play to the advantages of non-real-time consultation such as email consultation, form consultation and webpage consultation can avoid the influence of the above factors. Although the non-real-time consultation has a certain lag, it is very suitable for the information service of physical geological archives and other institutions. Combined with real-time consultation, it is helpful to give full play to the existing resources of physical geological information websites.

Second, the combination of online consultation and offline consultation. Online consultation service is based on e-mail, message board, BBS and other forms. Because this reference service is relatively simple and easy to operate, it has become the most popular remote service mode at present. Its disadvantage is that consultation is asynchronous, and there is no interaction between users and consultants, so it is difficult to effectively analyze and clarify problems. In addition, due to the special attributes of physical and geological data, such as senses, quite a lot of information consultation can not be completely realized through the network. This requires the combination of online consulting and traditional consulting services to form a compound consulting environment. Compound consultation is an organic combination of traditional reference consultation and digital consultation, which has both the physical place of consultation service and the information space. All kinds of inquiry questions can be completed by offline consultation and manual inquiry, and online digital consultation, which complement each other and give full play to the overall benefit of information consultation service.

Third, the combination of real-time consulting service and featured recommendation service. The real-time consulting service of physical geological information website is particularly effective for guiding and guiding problems, but it is not ideal for retrieval, special topic and special topic consultation, and it is difficult to meet the growing demand for information and knowledge with higher requirements and more complicated forms.

The combination of featured recommendation service and real-time consulting service can expand the scope of digital consulting, improve the depth and knowledge content of consulting, and meet the diverse consulting needs of users. The characteristics of remote service of physical geological information website should include the following aspects: ① From the user's point of view, under the network environment, users' needs will be diversified, and the database should not only provide general or even traditional services, but also meet the special requirements of users for specific professional fields, specific physical types and special delivery methods; ② From the service point of view, under the network environment, the service modes are diversified, including innovative service and brand service. For example, the core preservation of continental Cretaceous scientific drilling was carried out, which is a cooperative project in which scientists from ten countries, including the United States, German, Canadian, Japanese and Austrian, will participate in core drilling together with scientists from China. These cores will be of great significance in the breakthrough research of six frontier scientific fields in the world, such as paleoclimate reconstruction, description of major geological events in Cretaceous, continental sedimentary response, large-scale source rock formation, biota replacement and greenhouse climate change. These cores will meet the needs of geological scientists with special needs.

Four. Concluding remarks

The website of natural geological information is not only the propaganda window of natural geological information department, but also the window of information service and exchange. Therefore, we should pay full attention to the development of remote service function of physical geological information website, and adopt multi-channel and multi-channel service methods to serve the majority of users. Let the physical geological information website become a new window with diverse functions and wide public concern, and play an important role in the development and utilization of physical geological data in China.
