The 19th China (Wenjiang) Orchid Expo, sponsored by Orchid Branch of China Flower Association and Wenjiang District People's Government of Chengdu, Sichuan Province, was held in Tianfu Flower City Exhibition and Trading Center of Wenjiang District, Chengdu from February 27th to March 3rd, 2009.
With the theme of "inheriting fragrance and vitality in Wenjiang", this year's Orchid Expo aims to cultivate orchid lovers, promote orchid culture, build national orchid brands, promote the prosperity of orchid market and the development of orchid economy by improving the commercialization level of orchids, and play a more important role in promoting the construction of ecological and civilized cities and building a harmonious society.
