[Edit this paragraph]
Zhang Jingchu comes from the most ordinary worker's family and grew up in a mountainous area. My brother and I went to the mountains to pick stones and fruits, like wild children.
Graduated from the Department of Chinese Opera Directing, acting used to be just a means for her to work and study. For the postgraduate entrance examination, she studied English hard in Beijing New Oriental.
When Seven Swords was filmed in Xinjiang, the reporter looked at the little girl because she had nothing to ask. Soon, she actually walked onto the red carpet of the Berlin Film Festival. The media excitedly said with flashing lens: After Zhang Ziyi, Peacock has dedicated a girl with international star potential. Fluent English enables Zhang Jingchu to be interviewed by any foreign media without an interpreter.
Later, she became a dusty village girl in Seven Swords, a charming Yi girl in Bride, and Miss Zeng Da who made "Monk" Yin a monk in Purple Jade Sands ... In 20051early October, China, Finland and France jointly invested in filming.
The persistent elder sister in Peacock, the savage phoenix beauty in Girdling Bride, and the kind Liu Yufang in Seven Swords have made Zhang Jingchu's popularity soar in less than a year, and won important awards in several major international and domestic film festivals, making her indisputably one of the most scenic actresses in China. These films, like music with different colors, started her colorful acting career with Zhang Jingchu.
In 2007, Zhang Jingchu starred in The Disciple directed by Hong Kong director Dong Chengyi with high popularity, in which he challenged the image of innocence and kindness in the past and played an addict tortured by drugs. He also cooperated with his eldest brother Jackie Chan in Rush Hour 3, which further expanded his international popularity. In 2008, Zhang Jingchu's film work was Rabe John directed by German director florian gallenberger, which was jointly produced by filmmakers from many countries, recreating the unforgettable history of the Nanjing Massacre. Zhou Xun was originally chosen as the role played by Zhang Jingchu, but Zhou Xun resigned because he wanted to cut off his long hair, and then Zhang Jingchu took the lead.
