Morning: Wide Alley-Narrow Alley-Du Fu Caotang
Go to Chengdu by bike, the only remaining ancient streets in Qing Dynasty-wide alleys and narrow alleys. Into the wide alley, out of the narrow alley, you will find the old streets of Chengdu impressively displayed in front of you. Old houses, narrow gravel roads and a series of snack bars make people feel relaxed and comfortable. Bungalows, two or four open doors, mottled rust tells their history, and there are stone piers on both sides of the doors. Mascots such as melon and bergamot are carved on the lintel, and the unicorn with claws and claws is in harmony with the flying corner of the roof. Many people have caged birds singing under the eaves. People in the yard have all kinds of plants, such as bamboo, trees and flowers, and green vines cover the low walls. Look at the ancient quadrangles. Then ride a bike to visit Du Fu Caotang, the former residence of the great poet Du Fu in the Tang Dynasty. The poet Du Fu lived here, wrote more than 500 well-known poems in three years, and then drifted south all the way, leaving a thatched cottage of Bai Fengqing this month.
Lunch: Chengdu famous snacks-Longwonton soup, Zhong Kui, husband and wife lung slices, hot and sour powder, etc.
Afternoon: Chunxi Road, Tianfu Square, Wangjiang Park and Funan River.
Visit the bustling Chunxi Road, Zongfu Road and Tianfu Square in Chengdu to see the modern side of Chengdu. You can also sit in a Sichuan teahouse with a strong flavor of western Sichuan, listen to the dragon gate array of Sichuanese, and then go to Wangjiang Park, a place where famous Chinese and foreign bamboos gather. Here is a scenic spot to commemorate Xue Tao, a famous poetess in the Tang Dynasty. There are willows on the shore and bamboos in the garden. The park covers an area of120,000 square meters, and most of the ground is covered by bamboo forests. This is a place where famous bamboos gather in China, so it's called Bamboo World. Then ride a bike leisurely along the Funan River, which won the UN Habitat Award. The most famous scenic spots are Hejiang Pavilion and Living Water Park.
Dinner: find a hot pot restaurant with Chengdu characteristics in the streets and have a spicy taste; Or go to the most characteristic roadside store in Chengdu-Spicy Tang Xiao Hot Pot, where the average person is less than 20 yuan, which will definitely make you feel comfortable and spicy.
Evening: Go to "Shu Feng Ya Yun" to watch opera and have tea. Look at the fire-breathing and face-changing skills of Sichuan Opera.
Cost estimate:1around 20 yuan/person.
Second, a one-day tour of ancient Shu civilization. Morning: Jinsha Site-Du Fu Caotang-Qingyang Palace
First, I came to Jinsha Site in the west of Chengdu, which is the most important archaeological discovery in Sichuan Province after Sanxingdui and the first archaeological discovery in China in the new century. Represents the ancient Shu civilization more than 3000 years ago. Then I came to Du Fu Caotang, the former residence of the Tang Dynasty poet Du Fu when he lived in Chengdu. The classical garden architecture in "Caotang" has a strong cultural atmosphere. Then I came to Qingyang Palace, next to the Caotang, which is the oldest and largest Taoist resort in Chengdu. Although it was built in the Tang Dynasty, the existing buildings in the palace, such as Sanqing Palace, Doulao Hall, Hunyuan Hall, Lingzu Building, Zijintai and Bagua Pavilion, were rebuilt in the Qing Dynasty. The most striking thing is two bronze sheep in Sanqing Hall: a double-horned sheep and a single-horned sheep.
Lunch: The famous Chengdu snack "Chen Mapo Tofu" opposite Qingyang Palace, as well as "Dragon wonton soup", "Zhong jiaozi", "Korean steamed stuffed bun" and "Lai Tangyuan".
Afternoon: Fang Shuijing-Gushu Boat Coffin.
The excavation of Fang Shuijing has filled the gap in the special archaeological research of wineries in China, and it can be called a wordless gobbledygook of China Liquor. In July 2000, the ancient Shu boat coffin was found in the commercial street, which was listed as one of the top ten archaeological discoveries in China in 2000.
Dinner: Sichuan cuisine in Chengdu has a long history. Along with Shandong cuisine, Jiangsu cuisine and Guangdong cuisine, it ranks as the four major cuisines in China. I suggest you go to Sichuan cuisine restaurants such as Baguo Buyi and Xianglaokan to fully experience the spicy, salty, sweet and sour, spiced and exotic flavor of Sichuan cuisine. Or go to a hotpot restaurant to eat spicy food.
Evening: Stroll along the beautiful Funan River, come to Hejiang Pavilion, Music Square and other places for leisure, or go to a teahouse, listen to Sichuan Opera, and set up a "dragon gate array".
Cost estimate:1around 40 yuan/person.
Third, a day trip, ancient leisure. Highlight: Showing the elegance of Chengdu in Tang Dynasty: Wangjiang Park-Daci Temple-Wenshuyuan Visit Wangjiang Park at 9: 00 am. Watch the Xue Tao Cultural Relics Exhibition, or have tea in Wangjiang Park covered with bamboo forest. Then take a bus to Daci Temple. The temple is an ancient temple in the Tang Dynasty, including the Chengdu History Museum and the Tang Dynasty Cultural Relics Exhibition Hall. Moreover, the wooden table, bamboo chair and long nose copper pot of Daci Temple can make you fully feel the tea culture in Chengdu.
Then, I came to Wenshuyuan Street in the north of the city. This is the best preserved Buddhist temple in the city. Wen Shu College has a rich collection of Buddhist cultural relics, including bronze castings, iron castings, painted sculptures, wood carvings and stone carvings, with more than 450 statues. There are also Tang Xuanzang's skull fragments, India's Sanskrit Bayeux Sutra, Japan's gold-plated prayer tubes, and famous painters and calligraphers of the Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties.
Lunch: Taste vegetarian food in Wenshu Hospital.
Afternoon: After dinner, drive north, drive 25 kilometers along Cheng Peng Highway to Xinfan Town, Xindu County, and visit Donghu Park, the only preserved Tang Dynasty garden in China. According to historical records, the lake was built by Li Deyu, a famous figure in the Tang Dynasty, when he was appointed as a county magistrate in Xinfan, and was later expanded by Wang Yide, the father of Wang Anshi in the Northern Song Dynasty. Exquisite layout, mountains and rivers, pavilions and beautiful scenery. Visitors can watch inscriptions, couplets, or have tea for leisure.
Dinner: xinfan can be said to be a collection of famous dishes in western Sichuan. The general restaurants in Xinfan Town taste good and the prices are not expensive.
