How do college students handle credit cards?

The CBRC stipulates that college students cannot apply for credit cards after 2008. You need a full-time job to handle it! The policy conditions of each bank are different, but having a job is a necessary condition for each bank.

If students practice outside the school, they can apply to the bank as employees of the internship unit. Or if your parents hold a credit card from a bank, I suggest you apply for a supplementary card to your parents' credit card.

Why can't college students apply for credit cards? The reason for this is the following:

According to the regulations of China Banking Regulatory Commission, since 2008, domestic banks are not allowed to provide credit card processing services to college students. To apply for a credit card now, you must have a full-time job and provide proof of work and income.

Banks must ensure that credit card holders have good repayment ability to reduce the risk of credit card services. College students have no stable job and income and can't guarantee good repayment ability. Of course, they will be rejected by banks.

In the past, China Merchants Bank issued youth cards, but now college students can't do it. Some special campus cards are usually quasi-credit cards, which can only deposit and withdraw money and transfer money during school, without overdraft limit. Therefore, if it is only for the convenience of consumption, you can apply for a parent's attached credit card, or you can overdraw your consumption and accumulate points.
