The reporter learned from the Provincial Development and Reform Commission yesterday that the environmental impact report of Haixi intercity rail transit network planning will be publicized to the public 10 working days from now on.
According to the EIA report, by 2020, nine new intercity lines will be built in the province, with a construction scale of 559 kilometers and an investment of 99.465 billion yuan, namely, Mawei to Changle Airport and Putian to Ningde to Changle Airport (Fuzhou). From the long term to 2030, with the new Ningde-Nanping railway, the railways between nine districts and cities will be closed into a ring.
In 2030, the province's railways will form a closed loop.
According to the report, the planning scope of Haixi intercity rail transit network includes 9 districts and cities in the province and Pingtan Comprehensive Experimental Zone. The whole intercity rail transit network in Fujian will be basically formed in 2030, namely "one ring and two networks".
"One Ring Road" refers to: Fuzhou-Putian-Quanzhou-Xiamen-Zhangzhou-Longyan-Sanming-Nanping-Fuzhou recently (in 2020) planned Nansanlong Railway and Hefei Railway under construction; In the long term (2030), together with the newly-built Ningde-Nanping railway, the loop function will be truly realized, including 930 kilometers of national railway and 0/20 kilometers of Ningde-Nanping railway.
In the "two networks" planning, a new 18 intercity line will be built. Among them, 10 radial intercity lines have been built in the intercity network of Fupuning metropolitan area, with a scale of 536 kilometers; Six radial intercity lines with a scale of 509 kilometers have been built in the intercity network of Xiamen-Tianjin metropolitan area.
