According to the Administrative Measures of the People's Republic of China on the Issuance of Ordinary Passports and Entry-Exit Passes
Article 14 Where a citizen applies for an ordinary passport or an ordinary passport is altered, reissued or renewed, the exit-entry administration department of the public security organ shall issue it within 15 days from the date of receiving the application materials.
Under any of the circumstances specified in Article 5 of these Measures, the exit-entry administrative organ of the public security organ shall issue the application materials within 5 working days from the date of receiving the application materials.
Article 4 A citizen applying for an ordinary passport shall submit it to the exit-entry administration department of the public security organ of the local people's government at or above the county level where his domicile is located, and submit the following authentic and valid materials:
(1) A recent bareheaded photo, and a complete Application Form for China Citizens to Go Abroad on Private Business (hereinafter referred to as the Application Form).
(two) the identity card and residence booklet and a copy; When collecting, redeeming or replacing resident identity cards, you can submit temporary resident identity cards, household registration books and their copies.
(3)/kloc-citizens under the age of 0/6, accompanied by their guardians, shall submit the opinions issued by their guardians on their consent to leave the country, resident identity cards or household registration books, passports and photocopies.
