Tangqiao Town, Zhangjiagang City is located at the intersection of China coastal and Yangtze River economic development zones. Du Dong court?

Du Dong Court is located in Tangqiao Town at the intersection of National Highway 204 and Provincial Highway 338. This is the place where Master Jian Zhen, a monk of the Tang Dynasty, successfully sailed eastward for the sixth time in 753 AD. It was called Huangsipu in ancient times. "Shazhou County Records" contains: "After five consecutive failures, Jian Zhen, a monk of the Tang Dynasty, set sail for the sixth time in Pukou, Huangsi, and successfully crossed to the east." 1963, the Committee for Commemorating the 200th Anniversary of Master Jian Zhen's Death/kloc-0 set up a stone classic building in Huangsi Pukou to commemorate it. Japanese friends often come to pay their respects. 1994 the municipal government decided to expand Du Dong court and Jian Zhen Du Dong memorial hall. Du Dong court planning area 15 hectare, with a total investment of 20 million yuan. The scenic spot consists of Du Dong Memorial Hall, Dudong Bridge, Monument Pavilion and Jingzhuang. Walking out of the main hall, there is an arched stone bridge "Dudong Bridge" in the Tang Dynasty, which spans the banks of Huangsipu. Xujiawan site?

Xujiawan Neolithic Site is located in the south of Luyuan Town, east of the 2 1 km milestone of National Highway 204 100 meters. The site is located on a platform with a total area of about 20,000 square meters. 1985 was excavated in April and August, covering an area of 425 square meters. There are 0/3 tombs 18 ash pits18, 3 building foundations, wells, ditches, stoves, stewed soil, animal bones, rice, etc. More than 280 cultural relics were unearthed, including 166 from tombs, 103 from exploration sites and more than 20 cultural relics in the collection. The Second Institute of Oceanography of the State Oceanic Administration and the Stratigraphic Paleontology Laboratory of Nanjing Institute of Geology and Mineral Resources of the Ministry of Geology and Mineral Resources conducted the determination of C 14 and sporopollen analysis respectively. According to the determination of C 14, the site is 5,500 years ago and belongs to Songze culture in Neolithic age. ?

Professor You of Zhejiang Agricultural University analyzed the unearthed rice. 14 rice, 5 indica rice, accounting for 35.72%, 9 japonica rice, accounting for 64.28%. The coexistence of indica and japonica rice is similar to that of Songze and Luojiajiao sites. Due to the discovery of Xujiawan site, the coastline originally planned 5000 years ago has to be redrawn, that is, the south bank originally designated moves northward in Gushan area 10 kilometers. This site is of great significance to the study of geomorphological changes in the Yangtze River Delta. ?

Yongchang Temple?

Located in Jincun Village, Tangqiao Town, it was built in the ordinary period of Liang Dynasty and is one of the famous ancient temples in the south of the Yangtze River. It has a history of 1700 years, and the temple was demolished in the Great Leap Forward era of 1958. 1998 was rebuilt with the approval of the municipal government in September. In 2000, Yongchang Temple has built 34 guest rooms, including 4 Buddhist temples, East-West Square and Zhaitang Dormitory, with a building area of 895 square meters, which echoes the square in front of the temple and Si Tong Avenue. Covering an area of 1.6 hectares, the whole temple is an important place for Buddhists to hold religious activities in the south of this city.
