Hospital Information System: Hospital Information System and Definitions of Terms

Hospital information system is just a general term, and its essence is to integrate the systems of various departments of the hospital, make them interrelated and weave into an information network that can cover the whole hospital. Through information sharing between systems, information islands are avoided, which facilitates other departments to call information, improves the overall management level and work efficiency of the hospital, optimizes the process, reduces human misoperation, and effectively improves the service quality and patient satisfaction of the hospital.

Hospital information system is mainly composed of the following systems:

1 PACS system

PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication Systems) is called medical image archiving and communication system. It has developed rapidly with the progress of digital imaging technology, computer technology and network technology in recent years, aiming at comprehensively solving the comprehensive system of medical image acquisition, display, storage, transmission and management. PACS is rapidly popularized in hospital imaging department. Just as computers and the Internet are increasingly affecting our daily life, PACS is also changing the operation mode of the imaging department, and an efficient filmless imaging system is quietly emerging. In these changes, the main function of PACS is to connect different imaging equipment (CT, MR, X-ray, ultrasound, nuclear medicine, etc. ); Store and manage images; Image call and post-processing. Different PACS can have great differences in organizational structure, but they must be able to complete these three functions. For the implementation of PACS, different departments may have their own implementation methods and scope according to their respective regional and economic conditions. Whether it is large, medium or small PACS, its establishment is nothing more than medical image acquisition, large-capacity data storage and database management, image display and processing, and the network used to transmit images, which ensures that PACS becomes an important network standard and protocol DICOM3.0 for fully open systems.

2. Electronic Medical Record (EMR)

EMR, electronic medical record (EMR) is also called computerized medical record system or computer-based patient record (cardiopulmonary resuscitation). It is a digital patient medical record saved, managed, transmitted and copied by electronic equipment (computers, health cards, etc.). ) instead of handwritten paper medical records. Its content includes all the information of paper medical records. The National Institute of Medicine defines EMR as an electronic medical record based on a specific system, which provides users with the ability to access complete and accurate data, warnings, tips and clinical decision support systems.

3. Regional medical system

With the promotion of the new medical reform in China, the medical and health industry is receiving unprecedented attention, and the construction of medical informatization has gradually become one of the hot spots in the IT market. Realizing the people-oriented medical service system is the clear goal of the new medical reform plan. Developing regional medical care, realizing regional health informatization, establishing electronic health records and integrating medical and health information resources are the key tasks to achieve the goal.

4. Mobile nursing system

Based on wireless network, mobile nursing system uses handheld data terminal (EDA) to connect various hospital information management systems with EDA through wireless network, so that nurses can input, query and modify patients' basic information, doctor's advice information, vital signs and other functions in real time at bedside. Can quickly retrieve the patient's nursing, nutrition, examination, laboratory and other clinical examination report information.

The mobile nursing system can also apply the two-dimensional barcode recognition technology to the patient's wristband, scan the wristband information through the barcode recognition equipment attached to EDA, and accurately identify the patient in different situations such as admission, clinical treatment, examination, surgery and first aid.

5. Clinical pathway system

The concept of clinical pathway originated from the concept of American industrial management. Since it was introduced into the medical field in 1980s, it has gradually become a standardized medical model that can not only implement hospital quality management standards, but also save resources. Clinical pathway management is an important means of modern medical management, which takes into account both medical quality management and efficiency management. In order to ensure the smooth development of the pilot work of clinical pathway management, the Ministry of Health held a national conference on the pilot work of clinical pathway management on 20 10/0.8, and the Department of Medical Administration of the Ministry of Health issued 1 12 clinical pathways for diseases.

With the gradual advancement of the new medical reform, the clinical pathway system based on medical software, which consists of pathway knowledge base, clinical pathway execution platform, quality control management platform and performance platform, will rely on the electronic medical record system and integrate with other medical information systems to change the conventional diagnosis and treatment mode, standardize doctors' diagnosis and treatment activities and continuously improve medical quality.

6. Supply room traceability system

The traceability management system of supply room monitors the package status in real time through RFID radio frequency (or bar code) technology combined with the wireless network in the hospital and PDA terminal, so that every link of the package is controlled, and the mainstream logistics management idea in the market is added to the system, which can track the package status in real time and facilitate the inquiry of the problematic package and the relevant responsible person.

At the same time, the system can provide managers with early warning information such as package quantity, expired package and abnormal package sterilization in real time.

More importantly, the system introduces the concept of workflow, and recreates the management of supply room through workflow mode, thus forming our system characteristics.

7. Physical examination software system

Physical examination management system systematizes and standardizes the management of hospital physical examination center, and greatly improves the comprehensive management level and work efficiency of physical examination center. Our system leads the whole physical examination process from the collection, input, processing, processing and output of business data through computers. It provides powerful information support for the physical examination center to further implement customer health management services and optimize the business and administrative management of the physical examination center.

In order to meet the different needs of different medical centers, many functions of the physical examination management system can be flexibly set up, including physical examination departments, physical examination items, physical examination packages, various templates, common physical examination results, general physical examination suggestions, common diseases, report formats and so on.

8.Lis system

The LIS system cooperates with the doctor workstation to complete the examination process management functions, including examination application, specimen collection management, specimen verification, specimen redoing, unclaimed specimen processing, result filling and report review, as well as the analysis and statistics of various examination data, and can also complete the query and supplement of patient expenses.

The integrated design with ZLHIS provides a complete low-cost inspection system solution for the hospital.

Provide comparison of patients' previous test results; Specimen automatic segmentation/merging function; Single and batch audit function of specimens; Automatic receiving and analyzing instrument data function.
