Master Dadeyin, a modern Pure Land Sect, how did he motivate himself to practice? It means "I always put the word' death' on my forehead before I feel that the west has a taste." There are also some ancient virtues. Their desks either read "Life and death are important" or "There is no tomorrow" and other warnings. Even some practitioners think when they sleep that "he may not come back tomorrow", so they have to take care of everything after death every day. Why are you doing this? Because they really understand the truth that "impermanence is rapid and life and death are important".
The Impermanence Sutra says: "This old, sick and dead, in all the world, is really unlovable, really dull, really unreadable and really meaningless. From this, three things, such as Tathagata, should just wait for sleep, appear in the world, tell the truth for all sentient beings, and adjust things. " "Hokkekyo" said: One of the main reasons for the birth of the Buddha is to show us our knowledge of Buddhism. So the Buddha is here to solve these problems for us. It would be too bad if we can't solve these problems all our lives. Therefore, no matter how old or young we are, as long as you are a monk, we should always remind ourselves that I am a monk and must learn Buddhism and practice hard.
Learning Buddhism is nothing more than improving one's morality, wisdom and sadness, that is, self-interest and altruism.
Buddha said in the classic French sentence: it is difficult to be a man, to live to a natural death, to learn from Buddhism, to be born, and to meet Buddha.
We have gained a rare person and smelled bad Buddhism, so we should cherish it and make progress in self-interest and altruism. Especially in today's era, our responsibility is too heavy. Why do you say that?
I have come into contact with many laymen. Although they practice hard at home and learn a lot, few people straighten them out. If someone is in charge and can straighten things out for everyone, you will know that no matter which door you take or which method you learn, there is no way to return to Yuan, all roads are accessible, and there are many convenient doors, and all doors are free. Therefore, we should unite and care for each other. If we can't understand each other because of different Buddhism, it will do great harm to Buddhism. Therefore, all beings really need macro-Buddhist practitioners, and there are too many things that everyone needs to face and bear.
Especially in this era, many people have been disappointed with Buddhism in Chinese mainland. I don't think there is a real monk group in Chinese mainland that can organize and practice Taoism well. Pushou Temple can be said to have placed many people's expectations. People who have been to Pushou Temple say that it feels good to be in Pushou Temple. Why does it feel good? That is, after all, there are so many practitioners practicing here. Although they are all ordinary people (there are bound to be saints among them), once they form a group, it is the power of the monk treasure.
Therefore, in the last days of Buddhism, the establishment of Buddhist monk groups will make many unbelievers believe in life and increase their confidence in believing. We should carry forward the real Buddhism, and the masters should really work hard. On the one hand, we should indulge ourselves, on the other hand, we should be able to be altruistic. In fact, self-interest and altruism complement each other, because if you don't show altruism, that is, if you don't show the heart of all beings, there is no way to improve yourself. We should not only try to judge the evidence, but also increase our wisdom from altruism and achieve perfection.
